The 7 on 7 was held at Greenup County High School with almost every team in the area in attendance. Teams that were present were Russell, Johnson Central, Ashland, Greenup Co, Fairview, East + West Carter, Lewis Co. and Lawrence County. Lawrence County came away the winner. I know you cant tell much from these but I think Lawrence will be able to throw the ball all over the field this year.:ylsuper:

Who was Lawrence County's QB? I think the Shephard kid is going to be a good QB, but I believe the coach's boy is a QB too isnt he?

Boone Goldsmith

Tall and able to see over the line, has a great arm and touch. Can throw it on a rope or put air under it for you to get it. Not real mobile but sees the field very well.

Im pretty ignorant when it comes to the current status of Lawrence County football...Have they recently become a passing offense??

That is not a crazy question, I always knew LCHS to primarily run the football as well with a lot of option mixed in. I will say it has been a few years since I have seen them play but I don't know if they are going to a new offnse or not. A lot of teams will go to these 7 on 7 passing tourneys just to work on a passing game and not to go to a complete "passing-spread" type offense.

i'm glad to see the Bulldogs back where they need to be. I knew Boone would be a good quarterback, hopefully it will fall over to the season. Good luck Bulldogs.

How did the boys from A Town look?

From what I have seen and been told look for Lawrence to go to something of a spread-option offense this year.

I am still willing to send the best spread offense tapes I have for L-County to use if they want it.

The team is Kenton and I have never seen a team run this offense better then they do.
