The "three amigos" have worked hard over the last several weeks to prepare themselves for the webcast. There is no doubt that it will be first class from start to finish... real estate, salad dressings and pool cleaning? I oft wandered what they did for a living! On a side note, as of last Saturday the person they jusy hired to run the communications department, I will leave his name out of this for now, was not even aware of the attempt to webcast the games. He seemed very excited about the news... has kids that are taking journalism classes, etc. I think it just boils down to lack of communication with the folks with the technical knowledge...

2005 and 2006 squads played during the non-watered down 4A classes. I think that is what most are requesting... a return back to more competitive play during the playoffs.

I have a feeling that the pregame talk by coach will include our "fallen" athletes! They will be there cheering for their teammates...

The kids all over this state aspire to play in a championship game. They could give a horse's pit-u-ay (sp) on where the game is played. As far as the fans are concerned, I think many were growing tired of Louisville and the thousands of empty seats in the stadium. Many across the state have been filling their cars or jumping on buses for the event... curious if 'Louisvillians will do the same and show the same courtsey to Bowling Green...

I understand one couple may have a special attachment to the "H" at mid-field. They may request the "H".... for remembrance!

I have not heard anything about the replacement yet... my guess is the school and community are going to get every second of playing time out the surface as possible. I may be mistaken, but I think we are still paying for this surface... I am now starting rumors that the next field will be bluuuuuuuue field turf! as far as the drainage systems, I will let some of the BGP construction experts comment on that. IMO, the field drains fine for the hardest of rains.

I have never had the opportunity to go on base @ Ft. Campbell, but doesn't the base span Kentucky and Tenn.? So, are all of Ft Campbell's game played in Tenn.?

Every school that made the playoffs earned that distinction by the current KHSAA set-up.

Just saw the "cheap shot" behind the back to the knees by a Johnson Central player... wow! Was the Central player a senior or will he back next year?

I agree as well. Perhaps the KHSAA should go to a 5 class system with an "invitational" 6th class. Schools in the 6th classification can opt in and out on a two year basis. Schools like HHS, Boyle, SK, Bell County, Male, ST X and Trinity and others can opt to play 6A ball. If a school has a dramatic drop in athletic talent, that school can opt out into its respective classificaton based upon its current enrollment. My thinking is that everyone would want to play the best football possible at the highest level available. If that is too far outside the box... I do like the OHIO ranking system that determines who gets in for playoff play.

I think it all looks great! BLUE and White. Now if we can just get a decent gust of wind to blow the press box over the hill... life would be peachy!
