That is exactly what I'm saying. If F.C. is getting beat by St. Pat and Augusta, what is it going to be like when they play the Royals. If Mason beat St. Pat by 60, then I hate to see the score of the F.C./M.C. game. Fleming is very young this year, but there are a lot of "very young" teams out there this year. This new coach is going to have a long year.

I have to say that losing to St. Pat and Augusta in the same season is pretty embarassing.

Caleb Cannon (#5) had a heck of a game tonight. Every time you turned around he was making a great play. Great game for a great kid.

Fleming County has to be very happy. Am I wrong in thinking that Cawood will be part of Harlan Central? Take them out and Fleming is almost always going to be playing a home playoff game. Nice break from the possible district with Mason and Russell.

Breathitt should run away with this one. Fleming lost 11 of 13 starters from last year. Fleming is very young this year. I believe they will be starting a freshman quarterback.

I believe that Aaron Morris and Keyshawn Simpson are both future D-1 athletes, no question. I'm not saying Duke or UK, but there are alot of D-1 teams.

Central has 2 legitimate D-1 athletes on their team. They may have not had the most talent, but a better team in the region you can not find, proven by the championship. I believe if your good enough to win the 11th, then your good enough to win state. I am from the 15th and I will promise you, I would love to see another mountain team win it, but it will not happen this year. Hazard will lose by 15 plus.

Yes, in 1999 Scott Co. and Central met in the second round of the state tournament. This is when Marquis Estill played. Estill had knee problems and I can remember sitting in the stands and watching Scott Co. diving at Marquis' knees. This rivalry goes back pretty far. It is always "sweet" to beat Scott Co. and especially to go to the sweet 16.
