Highlands beat St.Henry early in the year 47-44 St.Henry has shortened their bench and have a pretty athletic team. I'm sure Highlands has improved also as the year has gone on. I'm a homer, but I'll still take St.Henry in this one. CCH beat NCC earlier in the year by 25ish? I can't see how any team still in the tourney keeps it within 20 vs. CCH.

How about the latest at St.X. Dominic Lampe, top contender for a state title at 170 will not be able to compete in regionals (or state), after being suspended for having a can of dip on him. School policy is a 2-3? day suspension and since he will not be at school he will not be eligible. Tough lesson.

Regionals and a chance to go to state are this weekend in Ky. I'm not sure what is happening in the rest of the state, but Region 6 (NKY) is at Cooper High School. I believe the first 2 rounds of the championship are Friday Feb. 13th and the rest will take place on Sat. the 14th. Looks like it is Campbell Co as the favorite and then probably/possibly Ryle,Cooper,Scott? Track Wrestling just posted the seeding. Who do you have winning and the weights? I know that earlier in the year, there was talk of a Riddick going to Holy Cross. Ryle has an Andre Riddick on the freshman team. Don't know if it is a relative of the UK Andre Riddick.

Greatest run ever? They have one it 1 time in a row so far. Go back to Highlands winning the 9th region in 1997,1998,1999,and 2001. Holmes winning the region in 76,77,78,(79runnerup),and 80. CCH winning in 67,68,69,and 70. Current CCH has a chance, sure, but these things run in cycles.

I think this game was fairly close in the 3rd qtr. Boone was up 41-35. Evidentually they went on a 41-12 run to end the game. Stanley and Stockwell with big games for Boone.

St.Henry with a chance for a 20 win season. Would be the first time since 02-03 when they went to state. Big game at Cooper on Friday night.

I'll have to disagree about St.Henry needing football. There really is no need. Sure it would be nice, but kids who want a Catholic education and want to play football have a great option in going to CovCath. (as I know you already know)

This game was no contest. NCC was to much at every position. On to senior night tomorrow night vs Newport for the Crusaders. Hope we come to play. Congrats to NCC on the win. As always nice to see Lb13, Hoops5, Northside and Rush2112.
