This is the untalked about aspect about Sayre that doesn’t get mentioned enough. The Spartan defense is very good.

Supposed to be pretty cold, but no rain on Friday, but 60% and 80% the next two days, I know they have a grass field so it could be some sloppy conditions.

Gonna be a very cold game for sure, but overall looks like no precipitation on Friday but will rain a little bit every day this week in Lexington so the field could be pretty sloppy.

I believe someone told me Friday that NCC loses quite a bit as well, unsure about Newport, Holy Cross, etc. I believe Pikeville is losing some big pieces, but I am sure they will have some studs that have been waiting their turn. I'd say next year you're looking KCD, Raceland, and Campbellsville being your top 3, and I am certain Pikeville will be in the mix as well. Hopefully Sayre will retool and keep building.

None during the game, as it was called, aside from a Campbellsville coach that was escorted out after some choice words to the officials after the fact, I do believe he is suspended for at least this game and next if the Eagles advance. I have heard KHSAA is reviewing and there is a possibility of some suspensions, but nothing confirmed yet. I am almost sure on at least three for Campbellsville for the retalation to the blindside hit. The "fight" happened on the Campbellsville sideline so nobody left the sideline, but there are rumors they are possibly considering suspending players that were pulling teammates out of the scrum and I really hope that isn't true, but nothing for sure as of now.
