I would say if you felt he was unapproachable it probably had something to do with it being you. From what I have been told the school isn’t loaded with talent but the coaches have gotten the best out of what they had.

I respected your opinion about football until I read your first comment! It needs to be an outside hire but not sure anyone good will want this job after the debacle that just happened.

I went and looked on the Larue athletics page and they have nothing posted about it.

Heard interviews are finished and that they had several applicants for the job. Will be interesting to see who gets it.

Heard rumors of a former player as a potential replacement for this job but nothing for certain.

I think it all boils down to a group of parents thinking that they are more important than they really are. You are never going to please everyone so the few make it miserable. Why would anyone want to invest into a program like that!

Not sure he was ever offered the opportunity to take over for his dad.

. My thought is the previous coach knew the well was about to run dry on the talent. With Stockdale being several options down the list he will probably not get long.

I think you see in most places numbers are up when you have a new coach come in. It will take a little while to weed out the kids that probably shouldn’t be on the team.
