Can Monroe play with Somerset?

I do think that Ocath district could be tougher than most with Hancock and Mclean and ft Knox. I don't think any of them have a losing record. I may be wrong on this. But yes only 4 teams benefit them.

So if COV CATH loses to Highlands and.or Cathedral, that is bad for Beechwood. How so? Will they drop so much they lose homefield advantage? Would that put them playing belfry in the 3rd round? Will it even matter, cause Beechwood is still a VERY Very good team...

I agree that live streaming is great for some. My daughters are away at college, and they want to watch their brother. One of them is in Tanzania for a study abroad, so if there is a live streaming option then she gets to watch.

So here is a question, for everyone, Let's say Murray did not move up this year. How would 2A look? Does moving up this year hurt them in some way?

@Purple88 If I can be devil's advocate on this. I know Somerset is a very good team after playing them the past two years. and like you said, they won state, and I think they are being underestimated this year. They gave OCath a game in the semi's last year. Hancock, I coached a lot of these boys in youth football. These boys have talent, and they are very good. If you look in the past years though, they rarely get out of the first round with these players. I work with a lot of their dads, and they are frustrated as anyone. I think they play a soft schedule with the likes of Breck, Ohio, and so on. I think they should get further than they should. After hearing a lot of chatter from Hancock faithful, I think it goes deeper on a level. Why do the boys from there transfer? I think that is a question that should be answered. Maybe @Hornet34 has some input. I don't know much about Monroe and Prestonburg, but they seem to have a good thing going this year. And Danville, they have been a traditional powerhouse. I agree with you that the turnaround there is outstanding.

I don’t see OCath having a cakewalk if that’s who OCA IS! Belfry and beechwood avoid each other. Then you have prestonburg and Breathitt from the east. All the other is from the west. Somerset, Monroe, Danville, mayfield, OCath and Lca. Don’t know a whole lot about Monroe and Danville this year but Somerset, mayfield, Lca and OCath look like regional finalists. This is based on previous years of course and Danville and Monroe could surprise us!!

And LCA moves up after being on a bye!
