If Mason was able to score 6 times on Scott. I would expect Brossart to do the same or better. Really heard good things about their skill kids.

Brossart 35-21 would be my guess. Coach Koz should have them rolling.

Heard through the grape vine it was 9-6 td's Scott. Offense was good and Defense struggled.

I'm sure there are more. The few pieces of info I have gotten are Cook QB Ennis OL Hampton WR/DB Bradley RB/DB Those were names mentioned as having a good off-season. I wish I had more info sorry.

Trey Cook SR. QB maybe the X factor for the Eagles this year. He had playing time last year and could evolve into a good HS QB.

Interesting matchup for both schools. What is Mason County like after Coach Wynn has left? Is Scott better after a full off-season with Coach Franklin? Thankfully Football season is here!!

Scott High School has a couple of very nice players. Sr WR Aaron Hampton Sr OL/DL Breydon Ennis Sr RB/DB Hunter Bradley They have stood out so far in seeing 7 on 7's and Linemen Challenges.

I heard rumblings before the Dead Period about it being a possibility. But can't confirm or deny. It makes sense for everyone involved. So it probably won't happen lol.

Also depending on the aggression during practices (2 and 3 aday's). You would end up going through 4 or 5 a year lol.

Coaching for decades, I'm guessing 99% of parents will sign a simple waiver. Eliminating and covering all of this. You will always have 1 or 2 that will find a problem with it. But for the most part it would cover everyone legally. Keeping the status quo going.

After reading through this entire thread. I believe the answer is simple and right in front of our faces. Much like every kid must submit a physical, participation form and other things every year. Isn't the logical thing to include the "waiver" as essential paperwork and everything stays the same??? I maybe thinking too simple, but it makes sense to me.

Sadly I believe it is coming down to "only communicate with your athletes when physically in your presence". Unless your sending broad announcements to their parents and them. If not, your going to be pushing one of the guidelines.

Any news on the Spring Game or how the Eagles are looking for 2025? Returning players?

Outside of Coach Franklin and Coach Luken. I'm not familiar with any of the other coaches. Hopefully their able to get the most out of the young men there! The schedule seems a bit more favorable as well.

I believe Coach Campbell was able to start pulling all those kids when he was the HC. His involvement with the youth and enthusiasm got then to come to Scott. That started the 7 or 8 good years for the program. So it has been done. But finding that formula has evaded the last few coaches. Hence back to the same old cycle unfortunately.

I could see 5 wins this year for sure. I think keeping the talent at Scott is key for their improvement. Too many of their star middle school kids are playing at other schools right now. Which is a shame!! They could have one of the more talented teams in NKY.

What will it take to turn this program back around? As stated above, they had some success in the last decade. Is Coach Franklin the answer?

Coach Bob Black has retired from coaching. Leaving the Woodland Middle School job open. From the outside looking in. He and his staff had that program going in the right direction. Now with this job open it's another Kenton County School needing a Coach. Which seems to happen very frequently on that campus. Any word on potential hires?

I would say that the instability of the school administration. Along with the countless miss hires of the past decade have done the damage. Basically since Coach Woolley stepped down, it's been a mess.

Is this potentially the last ride for Coach Franklin at Scott? Rumor mill says Yes.
