  1. I agree with you 100% on bringing in your assistants. My issue is the example being set forth from the top down. It seems to not be a very good one for "changing the culture" or teaching the kids the right way to operate.
  2. I have seen the video. I don't have the video to produce, as it was only shown to me. I do not have access to it or I would. At the timing of the first post I had not seen it. At the second post I had seen it. Just to make things clearer.
  3. Yes. Regardless of what they want you to believe.
  4. I guess we will disagree to disagree. As much as people don't want to realize it or acknowledge it. The WALLS do talk. Right now the walls aren't saying things that are to favorable.
  5. First, I have no reason to lie about the situation. I'm merely bringing up the news I hear. 1. Posting a video that conveniently stops before the interaction so it suits your agenda. 2. I'm not the one that is soiling a man's name. He is doing enough of that on his own. 3. Me bringing up issues with the program, is like taking about play calling or bad coaching decisions. 4. Things that are detrimental to the program need to be discussed. 5. For someone who has lived in the city for 30 years and has had children and grandchildren go through the school. I am invested more then normal. 6. The consistent dysfunction of the HC's that have been hired since Dan Woolley is alarming!!! In closing, if nothing happened on Friday night. Why is the Admin interviewing players and having a "meeting" with the HC this morning to discuss it??
  6. Eagles humbled back down to earth. Apparently there's video of Dustin Trimnell getting in a shouting match and threatening the Cooper coaching staff as they went through the handshake line. With all of the extracurricular happenings the team and staff have had this year. I'm starting to question if this hire was the right one.
  7. I think Ryle keeps the momentum going, making it 3 in a row. GC I feel got lucky to escape last week with a win. SK probably wins that game 8 out of 10 times. Ryle's defense will be the difference in this one. 35-14 Ryle!
  8. Thinking SK uses it's slightly better depth and overall offense ability to win this one. Pioneers get back on track, after 4 weeks they'd like to forget.
  9. Believe the young Mustangs use their Home field advantage to squeak out a victory. 24-21 is my guess
  10. I voted for Scott (Because I always want to see them win) But I get the feeling that they treated last week as their Super Bowl. It seems to me, they are to worried about the outside noise and making derogatory viral videos. Then actually focusing on Cooper. With a seasoned and fundamentally sound team like Cooper. That's a recipe for disaster.
  11. Fighting seems to be the one thing they do well. Weather it's the other team or themselves. They need to focus on fundamentals and playing the game right. Their Offense seems out of sync and the defense is what it is. It's hard to stop people playing a 3-5-3 against running teams.
  12. Congratulations to Dustin Trimnell on his first Coaching win! Scott finally gets into the win column.
  13. I will take Ryle 28-14. I don't think Coopers defense is good enough to slow down Ryle's offense.
  14. Is there a link to this game?
  15. Line play is the key to football as we all know. So with that in mind I will go SK 35 Dixie 21. I just see SK as being better at the point of attack. Dixie is getting there, but still not at that level.
  16. Apparently it was last night and they gave up 60 to GRC. Had someone send me a PM to tell me. Sounds like their still knocking the rust off.
  17. Gotcha! Thank You for the info.
  18. How did their first scrimmage go? Conversely I spoke with former assistant coaches from last year last night. How those gentlemen aren't up for saint hood is beyond me. Enduring last year definitely qualifies them for it.
  19. Heard it started with a couple of players. Then graduated to include coaches and both teams.
  20. Hearing things didn't go well between NCC and Scott today at 7 on 7. What punishments have been handed down in the past for bench clearing brawls? Not a good look from the All-Star coaching staff!
  21. That's a great update thank you. I would say it seems insulting to the players and coaches who have been there previously. I'm sure they all worked very hard and tried their best. Which you seem to take shots at repeatedly. I wish them the best and hope they do well!!
  22. Congratulations to Coach Riggs!! He is a fine young Coach and will bring alot of enthusiasm to the program. Great hire by GC!
  23. Pretty sure it was a "quit or get fired" situation. Trimble was a complete program meltdown. Yes at Carroll he had success, but that again was based off of what he was left with. The point is, his track record with controversial off the field issues he's had everywhere. Has caused him to be let go, leave or get fired pretty quickly from his stops.
  24. It has to be open to the public. Just like any other Coaching job. But I agree starting with the 2 coordinators make sense.
  25. If your young and hungry. The opportunity at a HC job. I'm not sure any time would be a deterrent to jump at it. It could be a great chance to take. I'm not sure what their talent looks like. Having the right energetic coach who can connect with the kids and the community. It could be a great opportunity.
