The Scott Eagles (2-5) are coming off a decisive win over Boone County as they travel this week to face the Cooperate Jaguars (5-2). Cooper is coming off the bye week but went into the break with wins over Conner and Dixie Heights.

Scott can hope to continue their success from last week but this is going to be a big task on the road. Cooper has executed well against good competition and that doesn’t bode well for a Scott program just trying to establish themselves.

I voted for Scott (Because I always want to see them win)

But I get the feeling that they treated last week as their Super Bowl. It seems to me, they are to worried about the outside noise and making derogatory viral videos. Then actually focusing on Cooper.

With a seasoned and fundamentally sound team like Cooper. That's a recipe for disaster.

Cooper wins.

Cooper wins, takes #1 seed in district.

Eagles humbled back down to earth. Apparently there's video of Dustin Trimnell getting in a shouting match and threatening the Cooper coaching staff as they went through the handshake line. With all of the extracurricular happenings the team and staff have had this year. I'm starting to question if this hire was the right one.
