  1. I understand coaches may want their better players to reach their “average” and have all players score, but during that 62-2 half, have those players play with some bench players that will get them involved in game play at a better level. Mix it up more than take your starters running circles around the other team.
  2. Wow, I hope someone that was at the game provides more details.
  3. I’m am going with St. Henry making a return to the finals.
  4. Everyone played for both teams making it a team win for SHDHS and Newport had only 7 ladies playing.
  5. The Lady Cru come home with 2 wins on the road tonight against Great Crossing. Great Crossing acknowledged Raegan Barrett for 1,000 points and St. Henry had Kayla Unkraut pass 1,500. Congratulations to both players on this achievement.
  6. A win Friday night would give St. Henry the 2 seed. A win would make them 3-1 in district play and Lloyd would be 2-2. It was competitive tonight, but St. Henry ended up with the win tonight.
  7. I am going to say Coach Arlinghaus. He had work to get all the girls on same page with new add-ins, but he really was able to get them to gel together and it showed in the All A tournament.
  8. I want to know if what I heard was correct, does the female ref in this game coach AAU with the female HC coach?
  9. Grant won the FROSH game by 3 and the CRU won the JV game by 3. All 3 games were competitive for these teams.
  10. The Cru will definitely miss Schlueter next year, and will need many players to step up to have that talent to find the back of the net the way she does. They also will need to fill the surrounding players that fed Schlueter with Keipert, McMain, and Cline in the senior class. Trapp was a great center back for them as well. Pandas played well, as always. Good luck to the Birds and Pandas! Dixie and St. Henry had a nice run at it.
  11. Cooper played well and showed a lot of speed in their offense. I have seen St. Henry play before and they didn’t look as well as I saw them last. The teams that advance in the 9th region tournament will be the teams that play well that night.
  12. Very competitive district seeding game. Dixie striked first with a free kick just outside the 18. St. Henry followed that 10 minutes later to tie before half. Dixie controlled more of the second half but both teams had close opportunities with shots hitting the crossbar. St. Henry scored with about 30 seconds left in the first overtime period making the score 2-1 final in OT.
  13. It was great dropping in for this super competitive game against Highlands and Dixie. If these two teams can find the back of the net, they could finish on top of the region. Fortunately for Highlands, they found it the 1x and it proved to be the game winner.
