  1. Qb going down before halftime is what beat Glasgow against Union Co.
  2. The Scotties get the Clock running by halftime, it'll be how much coach Arnett wants to put on the ole Raiders.
  3. Barren county wins this one 28-7 don't think Grayson has played anyone as good as Barren. Barren CO's Line will dominate both sides of the ball.
  4. The best team Allen co Has played is Monroe, don't think he will Have that success against the Scotties. I watched the game against them and Warren Central I believe a 60 year old woman coulda ran for 200. Warren Central hasn't been good at all. Was hoping coach Davidson could get them going.
  5. Metcalfe and Coach Harbison get the first win of the year.
  6. The Scottie's could run for 400 yards against this defense.
  7. They don't play anyone until they play Glasgow!
  8. I think Glasgow by as much as Coach Arnett wants to put on the old yard birds.
  9. Every week you have gave out a challenge and every week Glasgow has answered, after the scrimmages its was all about the line, the first 2 Games the line has taken care of business. This week it's the Defense, Glasgow will get the Defense right they have one of the best defensive coordinators in the state. So I believe Glasgow will get it right and answer the call on Defense.
  10. For one metcalfe played a 5A school and LJ Harbison is one of the best coaches in the business, he always gets his team ready just couldn't match up with Nelson Co.
  11. If the Scottie’s ever get to full strength they will be hard to handle, but in saying that looks like still a week or two away from everyone being back. Barren co has been playing pretty dang good as well. With only one team in common. In Logan that Barren beat in the scrimmage and Glasgow had a chance to go up 21-6 before the wheels fell off. I believe this game will be a really good one on Friday night.
  12. Won’t be close Barren Co going to have starters sitting by halftime.
  13. I think they can beat Greenwood.
  14. No they had a week to prepare without the QB an the JV QB didn’t play against Glasgow varsity. I did watch both Scrimmages as well. Logan put the RB at Qb and ran stuff through him.
  15. Meade isn’t very good, period. Yall caught Logan at the right time as there QB went out to a broke collar bone and there JV qb played against yall.
  16. Somerset does have an easy district and should walk away with district championship every year. Also Glasgow’s district is pretty easy as well.
  17. The Falcons will turn to Trace England at quarterback and rely heavily on the Spears boys, along with Bartley and Jayden Smith, to generate offense. The biggest question for the Falcons is up front. They lack experience and depth on both the offensive and defensive lines and will be counting on several young players to step into big roles. Because of that, I expect them to lean heavily on the option game. The problem is that Warren Central has a major advantage in the trenches. I don’t see anyone on the Falcons’ offensive line who can consistently slow down Jadis Duncan, and if Trace England is under constant pressure, it will be a long night. With Kenny Davidson back as head coach, expect the Dragons to play fast, physical, and disciplined football. His defense will be prepared and flying to the football from the opening kickoff. Outside of Bartley, I don’t believe the Falcons have the team speed to match Warren Central’s athletes. That’s a difficult matchup against a team that already has the edge up front. If the Falcons drop this game, I believe the season could snowball quickly. Right now, I only see wins over Metcalfe County and Clinton County, making a 2-8 season a realistic possibility. On paper, Warren Central has the advantage in the trenches, on defense, and in overall athleticism. Unless the Falcons prove otherwise, this looks like a tough road ahead
  18. What’s next for the Lady Hornets? Coach Turner resigned yesterday after only a few months on the job. To me, this isn’t shocking at all. If you look at his coaching history, staying in one place for very long hasn’t exactly been his pattern. Now the Lady Hornets are left scrambling to find a head coach this late in the year, putting the players and program in a difficult spot. The big question is: Do they bring back coaching legend Josh Hurt to stabilize the program, or do they hand the reins to a former Lady Hornet who understands the tradition and culture? This is a critical hire. The wrong decision could set the program back even further, while the right one could get the Lady Hornets back where they belong. The clock is ticking, and all eyes are on the administration.
  19. Ironton won it all by the way, they beat Boyle co by 2.
  20. Collins is good they have one of the best QB’s in the state in Kade Goodin. Since ya think you have all the facts.
  21. Metcalfe lost 2 senior lineman that transferred, Metcalfe will be 4th in district at best, I would say it will be 1) somerset 2) Green Co 3) Monroe Co 4) will be a dog fight between metcalfe and Clinton co.
  22. Glasgow has a chance to be really good up front this season. With the addition of two senior linemen, the Scotties should have more depth and be stronger in the trenches than they have been in years. The unit will be led by Jordan Huffman, and if the offensive line develops the way many expect, it could become one of Glasgow’s biggest strengths. If they control the line of scrimmage, the Scotties will have a chance to compete with anyone on their schedule, and they expect to make a deep playoff run with the team that they have.
  23. I don’t think the Falcons can pencil in a win over Warren Central. The Dragons have a new head coach in Coach Davidson, and I expect they’ll be much improved from where they’ve been the last few seasons. A coaching change can bring new energy, and I believe Warren Central will be a much tougher opponent than many people expect. If the Falcons stumble in that matchup, I wouldn’t automatically count Allen County as a win either. Coach Hood knows Coach Petett well, and that familiarity could make for a very competitive game. There simply aren’t many games on this schedule that look like guaranteed victories. Because of that, I think the Falcons’ ceiling in the regular season is 4–6. If a few close games go the other way, I believe 2–8 is a realistic floor. Another concern is depth. The way Monroe County plays, they don’t have much room for error. In my opinion, one significant injury to a key player could completely derail the season and leave them staring at a 0–10 record. If that happens, people will inevitably begin to wonder whether Coach Petett has lost some of the magic that made him so successful during his earlier years at Monroe County. This season feels like a pivotal one—not just for the Falcons’ record, but for the direction of the program moving forward.
  24. This season will be last time the game is played for awhile does neither team any good.
  25. Any news on who the new HC will be?
