Barren Co. starts this season off two impressive scrimmages as they seemed to dominate Logan Co. and Meade Co. up front. They lost very little last year losing only 6 seniors. They have second year starting quarterback Briggs Harris back and he is very quick and an adequate passer.

Clay Co. (TN) plays in Tennessee’s smallest public school division and have had several good seasons in a row. They lost to Glasgow in this bowl game last year and then rolled off 11 straight victories before losing in the second round of the playoffs.

Will Clay Co. be able to stand up to Barren’s size and numbers or will this game get ugly early.

Shouldn’t be a contest here.

Clay county is a top team in TN 1a this year. Number 6 or 8 I think. Glasgow handled them last year easily but without a couple of players. After that they won 11 games and played one game in the playoffs.
