66 for BC is eating people on the offense line. Can they hold up is the question!

Hmmmmm.... I think I disagree on this one. Barrens O-line is legit. They've decimated every line so far. Even Glasgow who has a good line gave up 275 yards rushing. . There O-line is there strength on offensive. Does barren win. I'm not so sure but to say that line will be dominated is a far stretch. The true question is can there D- slow down BG. Barren up front.. 66 is 6'4 308 and receiving offers. The center is 6,3 285 and a load. RT is 5'11 258.... Left tackle is a big dude too. I just don't see that happening. Being Dominated.....

Barren will finally be almost full strength against the purples. Earlier in the year against the Scottie's barren lacked two key players who didn't get to end up playing. Weston Shelton is a bigger great athlete that will be in the secondary and the big 260 pound Sean Broady who wreaked havoc on the Falcons is back on the D-line. I think when mid-year stats come out the Trojans will be one of the top 10 rushing teams in the state. Will they still be able to impose there will on the purples? Will Shelton in the secondary limit some of the pass plays? I think so.... The Trojans give BG all they want Friday night in a slug fest.

He is the top quaterback in the area. I didn't see one ball that wasn't thrown near perfectly. Barren played great but Holley was magnificent. He will pick teams apart and I don't expect the Scottie's to see any real push back now until the playoffs.

Both are great. However…. No one beats Jay Turner and BC streaming!

I’ve heard Barren possible gets one of there big linemen back and G-town gets there 2 linemen back plus the big physical Franklin kid. J-boy has a bad bruise and might yet still get to play. Hoping all the kids get back to full strength. As a community what more could Barren and Glasgow hope for. Smash mouth football against elite athleticism. A chance to get to see one of the top quarterbacks in the state and many other kids on both sides of the ball who have already received college offers! Reviving that rivalry was so the right thing to do. Trojan field will be packed with fans from both sides!

21-0 Barren 1:53 in the first. Way too much up front for Clay County.

Clay county is a top team in TN 1a this year. Number 6 or 8 I think. Glasgow handled them last year easily but without a couple of players. After that they won 11 games and played one game in the playoffs.

And….. scrimmaging doesn’t allow punt or kick of returns. I wouldn’t be surprised if Glasgow gets one of those a game. There athletes in the open field will be dangerous.

BG is BG….. period. In all honesty if Barren competes with them 1 in 4 years ii’s pretty good. It’s just hard to match up with there athletes year in and year out. That funnel don’t run dry. As for Greenwood… yes they’re gonna be really good. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Last years game was a really close game with Greenwood busting that run up the middle late and winning. May handle was the incorrect word if you thought it meant dominate Greenwood. I meant it in that…. I feel like we have a shot to when against them and all the teams on our schedule who normally beat Barren. Scrimmages can sometimes be suspect as the coaches don’t really show everything. But…. You can sense the tone of a team.

So… to answer your question. I’d say barren has a legit chance to give every team on there schedule all they want this year. Does that mean they beat BG.. Macon…. Greenwood…. G-town… not sure. But I definitely feel they’re pretty good.

Barren was up 14-0 when the quaterback got hurt. Did Logan handle Glasgow? If so… did the quarterback with the broke collar bone play? Probably not… so Logan’s JV quarterback put 35 on G-town? Barren is a solid team. If you watched there scrimmage against BC I don’t think you’d be asking that question.

If Barren can throw it just enough to keep teams from loading the box they’ll be dangerous. There senior quarterback looks much more comfortable this year and so far has had all the time in the world to go through his progressions. Meade county has a really nice quaterback and some good running backs. There O and D line was dominated by barren but Meade is a formidable team.
