What’s next for the Lady Hornets?

Coach Turner resigned yesterday after only a few months on the job. To me, this isn’t shocking at all. If you look at his coaching history, staying in one place for very long hasn’t exactly been his pattern.

Now the Lady Hornets are left scrambling to find a head coach this late in the year, putting the players and program in a difficult spot.

The big question is: Do they bring back coaching legend Josh Hurt to stabilize the program, or do they hand the reins to a former Lady Hornet who understands the tradition and culture?

This is a critical hire. The wrong decision could set the program back even further, while the right one could get the Lady Hornets back where they belong.

The clock is ticking, and all eyes are on the administration.
