West Jessamine: Gavin Murphy - WKU Sawyer Thornton - Milligan

Would Graduate Steve Adams be interested?

interesting side note to that tournament is West Jessamine’s Head Coach, Steve Adams, was an Assistant for that Harrodsburg team.

Hagen Tyler initially signed with Northern Kentucky University before they had a Coaching change.

How did West melt down in Regional? Lost by 16 at Southwestern in early January and the Regional game came down to a last second shot.

Coach Adams usually takes a different approach than most in the Summer. Team works on individual development and when they play in these events he tends to play everyone. I asked him once why he did that and his reply was he wanted to see all he has under circumstances they may or may not be comfortable in. Getting them ready for season and beyond. Everyone approaches things differently.

Steve Adams, West Jessamine?

2015 Boyle and Lincoln only lost two Regional games to each other.

Absolutely. Point is West did not attack the basket like they did the first 3 games. They where averaging about 18 FT’s in those games.

26 FT’s for DCA 4 FT’s for West Jessamine

Understand that Tre Coffman is eligible at West Jessamine.

No mystery. They will play hard, be disciplined and play together.

St Edwards is a very good football team. QB is excellent. Running back is a D1 player. They were very disciplined and played Boyle even for a half. I think they’d beat any other team in KY. I felt like their line was disciplined and their linebackers filled holes. This was an excellent FB team that the Boyle County Rebels beat. Let’s not take away from St E and recognize how well the Rebels played. One of the best HS FB games I’ve watched.

Gavin Murphy of West Jessamine has 3 offers: Radford Jackson State Sacramento State

I don’t see any established coach in a public school system taking this job after being vested into KTRS. It doesn’t make sense to lose out on your pension. This will need to be a young coach just getting started, a retired teacher that still wants to coach, or a paraprofessional coach.
