McCracken County has thought about it a lot as trying to entice teams to come and play multiple games on weekends has been difficult since most don't want to travel and get rained out.

McCracken played well enough to beat most teams, but Highlands shot the 3 better than any team I've heard of. My grandson said Ashland shoots the same way. When you don't allow a field goal in the 4th Quarter you would assume you would win, but fouling was most of the reason for the lack of field goals. Good luck to the Highland team.

True, usually 1st region teams have problems with games being more physical and fouls called in 1st region are play on at the state level. I believe 1959 North Marshall is last State Champion from the 1st Region.

2015 they failed to win the District for the only time in 8 years of existence, they have not lost a game to a 1st Region team in 2020 or 2021. All time they are 130 and 27 in the 1st Region.

Marshall County Lady Marshalls have won the 1st region Championship for the 24th time.

McCracken County has done what teams have never done against Marshall County, they have now won 12 in a row and 16 and 3 all time.

The upcoming match up of McCracken County vs Marshall County would fill Racer Arena if COVID restrictions were not in place. McCracken in past meetings have been able to handle Zion fairly well, if he has 37 against them look out. If I recall correctly I think he was out when they played this year with an injury.

Lyon handled McCracken County easily at McCracken and Hopkinsville beat McCracken as well, Hopkinsville is a very good team.

McCracken led from the get go as they stopped Tilghman's Eli Brown who only scored 8 point. Noah Dumas led the Mustangs with 24 points.

Murray handled Marshall County handily which surprised me, Zion didn't play much I heard. They could be a tough draw though in the Regional.

PT most always has speed and athletes, and they have beat McCracken County several times but Mayfield has them frustrated the way PT did Lone Oak back in the day. Fan support is not anywhere near what it use to be, but a few come to every game. He'll have have his hands full, but if and when he beats Mayfield he will have done more than anyone else in the last 25 years. Good Luck Big Blue Tornado.
