I’m starting to get a little nervous about this game as a Clemson fan. It feels like we are a little too confident and now our play caller is out. I rewatched the Clemson OSU game from last year and it was a different Fields. If that old Fields comes out, with their running game.... could be trouble. It might be a real barn burner. Haven’t been this excited for a football game for a while, glad it’s the late game tomorrow.

I realize that some significant players are out for Florida... but they look like hot garbage. This Oklahoma team has improved, but they are not a top shelf team. Florida was the second best team in the SEC and challenged the great Bama. They shouldn’t get embarrassed and blown out like they’re Vandy, even with some players out. Trask looks bad. Could the SEC be overrated?

UC will win this game. Georgia has players opting out and gets butt hurt for not CFP games. I don't even know who Georgia's QB is. UC will play with passion because this is their super bowl and they have something to prove.

I don't like it. Don't poke the bear. I hope he made his own formula and the amount of wins was the factor that skewed the ranking of OSU? He knows OSU would beat UC 42-21. Maybe he is really trying to get in their heads, I hate giving the opponent fuel for the fire.

And by the way, as a Clemson fan I believe OSU is without a doubt a top 3 team. 4 to 8 is a pretty good debate. OSU had no control of the games they played. No losses, controlled every game they played, won their conference, passed the eye test. Ridiculous to have Texas A&M or Cincinnati in front of them.

I'm not worried about OSU coming up with a good plan, they will. They will be able to run on Clemson's defense. It will come down to adjustments by both defenses I think. Also you are right about the over/under. If I'm Clemson you have to prepare for OSU bringing the house a lot, have some new screens for ETN. Is Olave going to be good to go by gameday?

Big thing for OSU to stay in the game is to not score too quickly. They can run the ball, we all know that. They need long methodical drives to win. I think you are right about the use of Fields, and about the slow developing plays by Lawrence. It should be a fun one, I don't think it will be a blowout at all. OSU is better than their resume looks.

I think it may just be to feed the narrative that Clemson is living rent free between the ears of OSU nation. OSU has never beaten Clemson and a Clemson interception murdered the reputation of the George Washington of OSU football. That is foreign to a team like OSU and maybe Dabo wants to feed it. He must be pretty confident to pull a stunt like this though. I don't really like it as a Clemson fan. Maybe he just values wins, OSU only has 6 and they aren't anything to write home about. Funny Dabo always gets the hate though. If he down plays Clemson they get him about that, if he's confident they get him about that. He probably doesn't care anymore.

Wow, why do that? He is playing up that they only played 6 games I think. OSU shouldn't need any bulletin board material. Clemson snatched a playoff win out of OSU's hands last year.

Jared was also our safety on defense. He probably shouldn't have been out there for the other kids health, for real. Super athletic, big and could crack some skulls.

Charlie Barr won a lot of games. My freshman year we were supposed to be the worst Highlands freshman team in the previous 10 years. Lorenzen coming to town and D. Smith deciding to give football a try were big factors. We lost in the Championship game.

Ha, can't spill the beans. I really don't know anything, but my shady, non-reliable source said its not who everyone thinks it is. And that it is someone that was brought up in discussion that was quickly dismissed a while ago. I would never put this half cocked information out there. I'm just trying to tease it up a bit, with a random rumor I heard.

I wouldn't read too far into Clemson beating ND in the way they did. It's really hard to beat a team twice. Alabama will be facing the best DL and OL they have all year. Ian Book will not be dominated twice in a row like that. I think this one is close in the first half and then Bama pulls away. ND - 20 Bama - 38

OSU had their best weapon out against NW. They looked really really good running the ball. I am Clemson homer but I think it will not be like 2016. OSU's best chance is to run the ball almost every play and keep Trevor off the field. OSU - 24 Clemson - 32

Ohio State vs Clemson, Clemson vs Bama, and Ohio State vs Bama are the only potential playoff games where there won’t be a heavy favorite. Regardless of losses the next best teams in my opinion are: Florida (won’t get in due to losses) Notre Dame (probably will get in) Oklahoma Cincinnati (committee would never) Texas A&M (not really deserving)
