Hoping they secure the #2! Would love to see them have a easier path to a state semifinals! They have played exceptionally well all year, and deserve it! A NKY semifinal would be just so much more fun!

I’m under the impression beechwood rolls. I will be upset if NCC makes this a close game, if I’m being honest. That would be a step backwards for the tigers after losing Berger.

Beating Beechwood by 21+ I’d say.

Hard for me to overlook the passing yards NCC gave up to Newport. That’s a big question mark. You would have to assume beechwood throws the ball better than the wildcats. With the tigers offense gearing more towards passing it could be a recipe for disaster for the breds come Friday.

Looking to see if 2A Beechwood can grab a win from 1A NCC and boost themselves high enough to secure the #1 spot in 2A.

Yeah I wouldn’t expect to see the tigers resting up for playoffs. This game means more than just a W on the schedule. RPI playing a huge role, this game could have some big weight to it, despite NCC being 1A.

Kash was a beast. He and I graduated the same year. My teammates and I would watch his highlights week to week and ask each other “how is he the same age as us?”.

Hate to see Mitchell Berger go out the way he did. I know it will affect his chance to win this award. Mr. Berger to the people of Ft. Mitchell, you are Mr. football.

Very questionable personal foul calls. Lloyd coach puts his hands on a beechwood play, thus instigating player to push coach. I would watch this game back to get an idea of the calls.

No. The holy cross 3 points was a busted coverage. After that, beechwood played lights out, and lived in the backfield. I expect the next 3 weeks to look the exact same.

I know there’s plenty on this roster. Top to bottom. There’s probably a vast majority who sub in on this team that would be starters at a lot of schools in NKY.

A game plan I would hate to have to prepare against. Berger is gassed, let Aylor dice you like he did SK. Aylor just broke one off and needs a breather? O’Shea can punish you in the red zone, and goal line if you want to go head to head, ask LCA about their time in the finals when he caught one in open field. Robinson just locked up your best receiver and wants a play off? Now let McCormick beat you down the field for a 60 yarder. This team is talented. Berger is the man, but this team is full of playmakers.

I’m being harsh. There’s always a chance. But I’d say it’s less than 5%. Berger is a front runner for Mr. Football. There’s no question. But having Hayden back they wouldn’t have to run the ball 75% as much as they did while he was out. The offensive playbook has finally been opened up, and I’m sure Hergott still has a few pages we won’t see until the playoffs. Clay can sling it with the best of them. I’d love to see this offense without Berger for just a night to see what it could do.

Against Lloyd? Yes they would.
