I don’t know there coach, but what a remarkable turnaround in Grayson. Is this a peak year, or do they have a few classes stacked up?

Huge win for the Comets is an understatement. Had never witnessed Shelby valley football before...what a well coached and tough team! The Comet Defense, especially the defensive line, played outstanding last night!

Great week by the Comet staff and players, as evidenced by the performance last night. Now onto next week to stop the run, in at least right now, is their biggest game of the season.

Traveling down in that country via 23 it seems there are a lot of neighboring schools that should allow transfers from Jenkins. I know it will not help the seniors, but future kids with the desire to play football from the Jenkins community should be permitted to transfer to a school where football is accessible.

Game, like last weeks east game and many other football games, will come down to which team makes the fewest mistakes and which team maximizes on them. Fleming is down, and east is on the rise at least for now. Fleming will win their district regardless, and East...well they just gotta believe to have a punchers chance in theirs.

Awakening for East Carter, and a big wake up for West Carter going forward. Confident both coaching staffs will maximize last nights game.

Isn’t very good? Awfully short sample size to make that determination. Anyways, I would urge you to keep up with the Comets the rest of the season and test that hypothesis. I believe traditional powerhouse Russel does play little 2A West Carter at the end of the Regular Season, it will be interesting to see how close that game is.

A long year in Vanceburg could depend on numbers. I believe the game requires eleven healthy to play..
