Nice!!!

Good luck to everyone hitting the woods in the morning! Hope your seasons are the best ever for you.

Nice !!!

Beechwood has not been in many close games for a save opportunity. If you look at stats on other teams there are not many saves in high school or not recorded anyway .

Great season BlueJackets .

Nice win for the BlueJackets.

Gonna have to do it without Scott after Nicholas beat that district’s champs tonight .

They are better than last year and they were pretty dang good last year. Really solid team in all phases of the game.

Nicholas County’s Isaac Fryman is signing with EKU.

I may have missed it but has this team been announced ?

Beechwood getting a little shook ...

Haven’t seen the first program? Haven’t even seen one person with one ?

There will be plenty of sand I promise , brought more sand home last Friday night than we ever did from the beach.

Do you need stats with your nomination Guru?

It was actually 42-20 final . Great job this year Jackets . Played above expectations all year long . So proud of all of you and the season you guys have had . Go Jackets.

Quarter?

Score?

35-12 mid third .

Looking like its gonna be some nasty playing conditions in Paintsville tonight. The BlueJackets need to try to keep it close and anything can happen on sloppy nights . Nicholas has been a good mudding team this year . Ball security is a must for both teams . Paintsville definitely has a good defense that doesn’t give up many yards but hopefully with the fields conditions and the footing could open some holes that normally are not there . Jackets will play hard and see what happens .

56-0 2:55 in the 3rd

36-0 NC at the half.

Two of the top rushing teams in their respective classes . The Wildcats coming off a tough loss in their district and the Jackets coming off a comeback win after an emotional week after losing a senior classmate . Swartz and Fryman both had over 200 yards rushing in this game last year and both scored 4 tds apiece . Should be a good one . Both teams need to keep key players healthy for the playoffs starting next week .

Really was a tough week for the BlueJackets , they lost a former teammate and senior classmate this week to a car accident . It was definitely a crazy last five minutes of the game . The Jackets had a couple defensive plays and the offense got some key blocks from the O line and receivers that sprung some huge plays in the last couple minutes . A lot of grit and emotion from Nicholas tonight . They just never gave up and kept fighting even when it looked pretty bleak for them with about 3 minutes to go and I will admit it didn’t look good for them .

Heckuva game Jackets !!! Way to keep fighting . Nicholas scored 14 points in the last 2 minutes to take the lead .
