This series is so hard to get a read on. At this point, I honestly have no idea what to expect, other than a great game. There's just so much familiarity between the players and coaching staffs. It's hard for one team to get any separation from the other.

I can tell you one thing I’ve noticed in this series is... Paintsville has Racelands number in close games...

Paintsville's won four straight over Raceland decided by a touchdown or less. Not sure how to explain it, but the Tigers find a way to come out on top when it's tight.

There is no doubt you will be in the game. It will be an all out war Friday in this one.

Interesting stat. Of the 8 teams still playing in 1A, Raceland and Paintsville are #7 and #8 in points scored.

 

Both teams are strong defensively. That plus the points scored totals should equal a low scoring defensive type game. I doubt that is news for anyone following these two teams.
