  1. POWELL COUNTY: Chimaobi Ajuonuma-Creed- Missouri Western Justice Harmon- Union Jason Mullins- UPike Lance Stevenson- UPike
  2. They are moving into a tough district next year. Good luck to whatever coach takes over!
  3. Powell County broke there school scoring record. Nate Skidmore racks up 6 TDs
  4. As someone not really educated on kicking technique, which is better as far as skill?
  5. Brian Baker is a sophomore at Powell County kicks. 45+ field goals. And puts kickoffs out of the back of the endzone.
  6. I agree with you. Casey county will be tough come playoff time. I feel like Powell gets overlooked a lot also.
  7. I think that Skidmore is a more complete back, and that may be because he's a 4 year starter. He has better size, 5'10 205lbs. Swartz is more agile and has more quick twitch. I think Powell shows it's no quit demeanor once again and ruins Bath county's first game on there new field.
  8. Powell County is top 10, no doubt. Nate Skidmore is HIGHLY underrated, they have a really good QB and a really deep offense. Just look at what they did last year
  9. Glad to see him get the job. We have some great players still there from last year, and some new. Keep the system the players already know, and lets go make a run!
  10. I think thats the best option at this point. Lots of good players on the team from last year.
  11. Talked to the AD a few weeks ago. He told me that a new coach would be hired by the end of May. He told me the job wasn't officially posted until the 1st of May. That's all the news I got
  12. I'm gonna throw an athlete out here that you've never heard of in football, because he's never played. Sounds crazy, but just wait! Chimaobi Ajounuma-Creed Sophomore 6'3 205lbs 6'7 wingspan 4.46 40 yard dash Benches 275lbs Chimaobi came to the US from Lagos, Nigeria about a year and a half ago. He had primarily focused on basketball. After playing on the same AAU team as Reese Smith from Boyle County, Reese and the former head coach at Powell County(Brandon Brewer) convinced him that he is what all D1 football schools are looking for. Im not saying he's gonna be an All American, but if one kid has all the potential in the world, it's this kid. Another kid from Powell County to watch is RB Nate Skidmore. That kid can run!!
  13. For a small school, they're getting some great shooters! It wouldn't surprise me to see Bonny walk on at a bigger school like EKU. Kid is a fantastic ball player
  14. That's great. Excited to see how they do with Stone from Wolfe also signing there. Has Bonny signed anywhere yet?
  15. I've been asking around, no one has heard anything. I would hope they would hire someone by May?
  16. There are a lot of good players coming back this season, and a lot of athletes from other sports committing to football this season. I'm shocked and hurt to see Brewer leave, but I guess that's just the business. Besides Mike Jones, any word on any other candidates?
  17. From a PoCo Pirate, Congrats! Way to represent the 56th. We're proud of our little brother! Haha
  18. Pulaski Thunder is getting the same team back. There a tough team
  19. Low scoring game considering how Estill has been playing. Just not a friendly rim tonight?
  20. Nate Skidmore for Powell County had a great year. I expect even more as a senior
  21. I don't really think seeding makes a big difference in this district. Its gonna come down to Estill and Powell again. Should be another great game in a great atmosphere!
  22. THANK YOU. My thoughts exactly. Your 5 best players in your school versus the best 5 at any other school. No need for classes.
  23. The principal tweeted and confirmed the games will be played as scheduled. The Pirates head coach David Fraley will not be at the game tonight, due to the flu. Assistant coach Bobby Bowling will take over coaching duties until he returns
