Just because the SEC has 3 really good teams does not make them the best conference overall.

I wanna say the rule is you can't vote the team you coach as the number one team.

FINAL: Elder 6, St. X 14. Bombers come out on top of a dog fight. They are now 2-0 in the GCL.

Less than 8 minutes left in the Elder vs. X game. X was driving, was faced with a 4th and 9, went for it, but failed. Elder turns and gets a huge play and is now at the X 26 yard-line.

Sigh... I'm preparing for my Ducks to be dethroned in the Pacific by Edmonton.

Elder throws an INT in the end-zone. Marrocco, who had an interception earlier in the game called back due to a PI call, comes up big for the Bombers. Fourth quarter just started.

That's the beauty of hockey. When Doc is on call, there's so much action that there isn't any time to bring in real-world matters.

St. X up 14-6. Elder currently driving with less than 2 minutes left in the third quarter.

Past week has been gorgeous. Sunny, little hot but not too bad. I think it's supposed to stay that way next week as well.

Ludlow looks good this year. Can anyone tell me what kind of player Blackburn is? I know he's a QB, but does he play defense too? Is he a running QB or does he have an arm?

Not for football, but I was able to start broadcasting games for St. Henry basketball. It was audio only, but kids who couldn't make games were thankful that they could listen. Besides getting the equipment, you could stream for free. It also has the potential for advertisements. Another great thing that could come from it is that kids who want a career in either sports journalism or commentating can get a HUGE start in their career. Starting early helps them get better, which in the long run means better commentators on ESPN!

Rupp may not be in the best condition, but let's be real - if you're from Kentucky, your dream growing up is to play at Rupp Arena. Even if you aren't a UK fan, it is the Mecca of basketball in the Bluegrass.

Kirk Cousins throws for 365 yards and 3 TDs. Chris Thompson continues to impress, Josh Doctson shows what he can do with his touchdown grab (not going to lie, haven't cheered that much in a long time). Defense was also spectacular. Another thing I noticed: Crowder has now fumbled two punts this year (first one against Philly). Both times it lead to the other team getting a touchdown. Have to fix that soon.

Very relieved that St. X took care of business against Moeller. However, if the two teams meet in the playoffs, it won't be the same case. Lasalle was a shocker. Can anybody tell me why they lost? Also, the St. Ignatius vs Elder result contradicts their struggle against St. Eds. God bless the GCL!
