  1. The thing that annoys me the most is that I have to be conscientious to the point of paranoia about what annoys her the most. She gets annoyed very easily at the sound of chewing. I don't mean obnoxious chewing with your mouth open, because who isn't annoyed by that? I mean just when you normally chew something that happens to be crunchy that can be heard by others even with your mouth closed. There's literally nothing I can do to avoid it other than not eat crunchy things around her, so I don't.
  2. The demise of Littlefinger was one of the top 5 happiest television moments of my life. They executed that scene perfectly (no pun intended). I said on here I'd be very very let down if Arya and Sansa's recent behavior wasn't part of a larger scheme to be one step ahead of Littlefinger, and I was certainly not let down. I'm not as thrilled with the Dany/Jon(Aegon? Which do we use now?) love connection as many others seem to be. Not because it's incest, that is tolerated if not downright accepted in this world, particularly in the Targaryen family. I just don't see how it's going to benefit the storyline. There's not enough time left to see what a hypothetical child of theirs would become, and I doubt they'll be given a big happy ending where they ride off in the sunset happily ever after. It just seems unnecessary. My reaction to it mirrored Tyrion's. Only bad can come of that. The ice dragon was terrifying. That ending was perfect. It brought the mood right back to where it should be going into the final season after having several moments of happiness in a row. However, if Tormund died I will be a little annoyed because he deserved a better death than that of some red shirt.
  3. I can only speak for myself, but I'm only disappointed in this season because I've held Game of Thrones to a higher standard of entertainment. I'm completely okay with having a weaker story line for the sake of easy entertainment if that's what I'm expecting. Case in point is The Walking Dead. I am a huge TWD fan knowing full well it's basically a soap opera with zombies. But GOT has become what it has become based on intricate story telling and hard and fast rules laid out over the years. When they start to stray from that it glaringly sticks out by comparison.
  4. That can't be repeated enough. I just hope those in charge at CBS take notice. For the first time ever since I've been watching live feeds, I will be canceling them before the season is over. Hopefully many others are doing the same because taking money out of their pockets is the only way to make them make changes.
  5. The new Night King on GOT. He looks much older and more human and less intimidating now. That moment that he's staring at Jon as he raises the dead in Hardhome is one of the most haunting moments of television I've ever seen. But the guy who played him in this most recent episode (I'll avoid spoilers so no more details necessary) just looked like an emotionless old man that happened to have blue eyes.
  6. He still has Kevin as the odd man to target and maintain all three of his threesomes if he does happen to win HOH. He may have a difficult time justifying it to Christmas and Josh, but Jason and Alex are all about it. Matt and Raven really aren't even worth mentioning, but as long as they can coast another week I'm confident they'd be okay with it.
  7. I've never been a huge fan of Russillo. I thought he was okay playing off SVP, but don't like him as the lead. He's always seemed like that stereotypical college frat bro that just never came to terms with the fact that he's no longer in college. This story only adds to the persona.
  8. The Arya/Sansa storyline is definitely the biggest issue I have with this season. If it doesn't turn out that Arya is acting this way in some scheme to get one step ahead of Littlefinger I am going to be very very let down.
  9. My guess is his emotional problems were around way before he joined the marines based on some of the stories he's told. Normally I would say it's unlikely he has anything clinically wrong because of the thorough psych evaluation house guests must go through to get on the show, but they obviously already missed the PTSD diagnosis Megan had so they're not perfect.
  10. ***SPOILER*** Well Jessica screwed over any chance she had at staying in the game today. She unknowingly went after the one person in the house who was actively trying to save her this week by verbally attacking Josh. This of course led to an emotional outburst from Josh and a nearly physical altercation with Cody. It would have been a long shot for him to flip it anyway, but he was her only chance and now she has zero chance. On a side note, I am rooting for Cody to win HOH just for the sake of shaking things up, but I cannot stand him. He has the emotional maturity of a middle schooler.
  11. Around 1300 miles from Chicago suburbs to West Palm Beach area. Our dog was just a puppy at the time and required several more bathroom breaks than we would have needed if it was just us, so the drive took 23 hours. Because we lost an hour on the time change we actually pulled into our destination 24 hours to the minute from when we left the day prior. It was a fun coincidence at the end of a rough drive.
  12. ***SPOILERS FOR NON FEEDSTERS*** The stars are aligning for a potential battle for control over the house vote between HOH Josh and puppet master/dog trainer Paul. After the dust has cleared from the temptation comp, noms, and veto it looks like we're going to be left with Josh's target Elena and Paul's target Jess on the block (along with a renom TBD). Normally I wouldn't get my hopes up as everyone has given in to Paul's every wish all season, but if anyone is stubborn and crazy enough to finally go against him it's Josh. Also, he seems very set on it when cam talking by himself which is the only time you know for sure you're hearing the truth.
  13. It looks like there will be some sort of putt putt style HOH comp tonight since the houseguests got to practice yesterday. It'll likely be more of a crapshoot which is unfortunate because I wanted to see Cody and Jess beast out a "how bad do you want it" kind of HOH.
  14. They stop someone from doing something by providing the proper resources to help change the behavior i.e. the mental health assessment and intervention that I mentioned. Unless a child is pure evil, and though that does exist it is very rare, they are able to change from being a bully with the proper help. And the victim is able to be taught better coping mechanisms with the proper help.
  15. It seems at least a portion of the bullying did take place during school hours with pictures taken on school property. However, I feel that's beside the point. If it's brought to the school's attention there should be some sort of intervention protocol in place to stop it or at least prevent this outcome. I don't think that means jumping straight to expulsion of the bullies, but I do think it should include mandatory mental health assessments and interventions by professionals. This would obviously include the parents of the bullies so that they are fully made aware of what's going on by a third party and not the emotional parent of the victim. Also, like I said there is more than just the school at fault. If I were the parent of the bully (I hope to God I don't raise a kid that bullies but I guess you never know for sure) then I know I would immediately revoke all social media access. If they need the computer for homework then I'm sitting my butt right next to them while they do it. That is a one strike and you're out offense in my book.
  16. After months of bullying, a 12-year-old New Jersey girl killed herself. Her parents blame the school. - The Washington Post My view on suicide is dramatically different depending on whether it's an adult or a child. If it's an adult it's either a severe mental illness or complete cowardice. However if it's a child, I feel like it's a complete and total failure of the adults in that child's life. My question is where do you think the fault lies and to what degree should they be held responsible? I feel the school, the bullies' parents, and even her own parents, as sad as that is to say because they've been through enough, all have a certain level of responsibility.
  17. As soon as creepy Bran gets to have a conversation with Jon. I guess that all depends how long he stays down there mining dragon glass.
  18. To be fair he's had quite a bit of help from production. That's just how Big Brother works so I'm not complaining, but people shouldn't act like he's Dr. Will or Dan.
  19. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Carl. He does things that really annoy me but when you run down the laundry list of things he's experienced (shot twice, lost his eye, shot his own mother, nearly raped, nearly killed about 1000 times) it makes me have a bit of sympathy and understanding for the things he does. I'd like to see him get whatever the Walking Dead equivalent of a happy ending could be.
  20. ***KIND OF SPOILER*** Just to be sure I don't upset anybody I put the spoiler warning, but I don't actually read the comics myself so I can't really spoil much. From what I understand there is at one point a fairly significant time hop in the comics which is potentially what that ending is alluding to. The adult cast should be easy enough to age, but I would think they'd have to recast Carl which would be a tough thing to do.
  21. ***SPOILER*** As of now the house is basically planning on voting Ramses out simply because it's not want Jessica and Cody want. Josh will obviously be gunning for those two so it makes sense that the rest of the house would want to keep him. That being said, yesterday Jessica started to get paranoid (rightfully so for once) that the house wasn't going to vote the way she and Cody wanted so she's considering using the veto to put up someone up that would force them to vote out Josh. Cody is trying to talk her out of it though.
  22. I hope so badly that he wins HOH though. It would be chaos and feeds gold!
  23. I forgot to put a spoiler warning on that one for the non feedsters. That was my bad. But yes unless something dramatic happens in the next two days it's Dom leaving.
