  1. Why would they even consider that? Presumably they'll be given a transfer exemption to immediately play elsewhere. I can't imagine any of them not taking advantage of that.
  2. I think the issue seems to be why is this the way they choose to protest? Let's get past whether they have a right to do it, because obviously they do assuming their team owner allows it (which all have). However, it is perceived by many to be a slap in the face to those who have fought and died for this country even though it is absolutely not intended to be that. That's very important because it's something that neither side of this issue seems to fully understand. One side is screaming it is completely disrespectful and the other side is screaming it's not disrespectful at all, and both sides are right because it all comes down to how you interpret it. So the question is wouldn't choosing another form of protest be more successful because it wouldn't be distracting from the point they're trying to make?
  3. Yes, but because there is such inconsistency in chiropractic education from school to school (and there's a whole host of reasons for that that I don't need to get into) then not everybody who earns the degree has the necessary level of clinical knowledge and training to safely and effectively practice. Like I said, there are of course good chiropractors out there, but there are also many bad ones and the average layperson has no way of knowing the difference. In my opinion it is in a patient's best interest to consult a medical doctor (either a DO or an MD) who have a better understanding of the underlying pathophysiology at play than a chiropractor would.
  4. You're welcome! Hope it works out for you. Feel free to PM me if you happen to have any questions about it.
  5. I've never experienced chiropractic as a patient. And I don't deny that good chiropractors exist. The problem is that there is significant inconsistency in chiropractic education as well as loose oversight and regulation on practice standards.
  6. You mentioned your "osteopath", so I assume you're already seeing an osteopathic doctor. Why did he or she not perform OMT on you? Or if they don't do OMT in their particular practice he/she should certainly be able to recommend another osteopathic doc that does. I am quite biased, but I will always recommend an osteopathic doctor over a chiropractor for both safety and efficacy.
  7. This I can't answer. Never been in that environment but I'd imagine emotions can easily overtake logic in such a high stress environment. 3 of the 5 votes for Josh to win were long time fans of the show (Cody, Mark, Alex) so while that theory may or may not be true, last night's results don't support it.
  8. Capable of it? Of course. He is an adult of at least moderate intelligence. Willing to? Absolutely not. He like so many others put complete trust in Paul and did as he said.
  9. Yes, but it was Paul pushing him to do that and everybody realized it. When a dog bites somebody are you mad at the dog or the owner who trained him to do it?
  10. That ending was almost the ideal ending I laid out earlier, but I'll certainly take it. If Paul had just taken ownership of his game I think he would have won, but instead he still tried to lie and deflect to the bitter end. For as good of a game as he played, he couldn't have played this final episode any worse which is a surprise to me. And Cody winning AFP as a giant "F You" to this horrible cast is one of my favorite Big Brother moments.
  11. My dream scenario to salvage at least a bit of this awful season is Josh winning final HOH, takes Christmas, and beats her. Then Cody and Kevin are announced as top choices for America's Favorite Houseguest and watch Paul's face as the realization sets in.
  12. It's not an edit of it, but here's a running list: Complete List of Raven's Ailments, Lies, and Claims : BigBrother
  13. You're right. It looks like Mr. Redlegs got into the opiates and Gapper did some blow.
  14. Yes. Part one won by Paul. Part Two won by Josh. Josh and Paul will square off on the giant scales tomorrow night. That means it looks like Josh will be in the finals either way and if Josh wins I think he'll still cut Paul and take Christmas. *Edit after reading today's updates Josh rather convincingly said he'd take Paul. So what I think that means is it's still up in the air. I suppose we'll all find out at the same time.
  15. ***POTENTIAL SPOILER*** New information from trusted sources in the Big Brother community indicates that the jury was quite bitter toward Paul during the round table discussion with Dr. Will which was filmed yesterday. Again this is all according to sources seeing as none of it has been aired to the public yet, but the word is that only Matt and Raven have said they would vote for Paul in final two regardless of who he is against. If this information turns out to be true, I am shocked in particular about Cody, Mark and Kevin. Cody was nothing if not a competitor and seemed to respect the fact that Paul was able to manipulate and beat everyone despite his warnings that it was happening. Mark is a diehard Big Brother fan who I would think would have more respect for the game than to cast a bitter vote rather than a vote for the better player. And Kevin just seemed so blindly loyal to Paul I didn't think it was possible for him to flip.
  16. To be fair Cinema Score ratings are based on perceptions going in compared to coming out, and the perception of what this movie was going in was at best vague and at worst downright misleading. If you were expecting a traditional horror movie then this movie absolutely disappointed.
  17. Has anybody else seen it yet? If so I am curious about any and all opinions of it. I've been thinking about it since we walked out of the theater last night and I still haven't been able to fully wrap my head around it. I don't know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't the religious allegory on acid that it turned out to be. It's like Inception, Fight Club, and A Clockwork Orange got together and had a very strange baby. I'll possibly appreciate it more on a second viewing, but right now I really don't know what my opinion of it is.
  18. I'll make it a little easier and say if Paul is in final two then Paul wins. I believe Cody, Mark, and Elena won't be bitter and will vote for the better player (which would be Paul) plus the blind loyalty of Raven, Matt, Kevin gives him enough right there. I also think he gets Christmas' vote if she's the final juror vote (although Christmas would likely get Josh's vote if its the other way around). So it comes down to who would win if it's Christmas and Josh and I really think that's a toss-up. I think Paul and Kevin vote Christmas in that scenario. I think Cody and Mark vote Josh in that scenario. I think the other 5 could all go either way. It'll depend if Josh convinces enough people with his speech by emphasizing that he was the one to finally take out Paul.
  19. Nailed it according to what each has said when talking to the cameras by themselves. Subject to change over the next few days of course.
  20. She's actively campaigning hard on social media for everyone to vote for Cody. She has explicitly said not to split votes between she and Cody and to give them all to him. I dislike this cast so much that I actually want Cody to win just because it would anger and confuse them all so much, Paul in particular. Paul was already significantly rattled by his portrayal in the BB comics, and I can only imagine how shaken he'd be if Cody won America's favorite.
  21. The Wall. Those payouts are crazy high for a minimal knowledge requirement. And my fiance' and I have already discussed our hypothetical turn on the show and we're ripping up the contract at the end no matter what.
  22. I would be very curious to see these numbers broken down into socioeconomic status within the region. Obviously the raw number of lower, middle, and upper are going to be quite different from more urban areas. However, if you compare the average health statistics from the low income of Appalachia to the low income of say Louisville metro and the high income of Appalachia to the high income of Louisville metro it would more clearly reveal whether its just a greater proportion of economically disadvantaged people in Appalachia causing this or if there are other factors at play (cultural, environmental etc).
  23. Alex has been the most vocal of all house guests with the vitriolic personal attacks. Jason's comment about raping Kevin's wife and tying up his daughters got most of the publicity, but Alex calling Kevin a child molester wasn't a whole lot better. And she said much, much more than that that's just biggest one that comes to mind. Raven and her family were basically exposed as the con artists that they are. Raven just did what it seems like she's been doing her whole life which is spew lies, but unfortunately she was now doing it with thousands of people watching her 24 hours a day who could very easily look into her claims. She wasn't helped by the fact that her mom has been going crazy and threatening people the whole summer. Google "Raven Exposed Party" and check out the reddit and various other websites about it. It's crazy.
  24. It's so bad. It's painful. I could overlook the horrible character of these people for the sake of entertainment if they were at least providing good game play and I could tolerate the awful game play if they were likable people. There's just nothing to root for. The only thing I do look forward to is how they are going to deal with the public backlash once they're back out in the real world. Jason, Raven, and Alex especially all have a whole lot to answer for.
  25. Getting married in December actually. We've been together 8 years and lived together 3 years though, so I can't imagine any personality curve balls will be thrown at this point that either of us can't handle.
