I agree... And not to say I told you so... I didn't see the blowout from county coming but I thought we'd lose. Also thought we'd beat UHA. My next prediction is even wilder. I think UHA beats county in the first round of district. This is a year like one of those mid 1990's years when crazy stuff happens in the district. Both Hollowel and Tandy were sick when they played us thursday night. Tandy missed their game saturday with the flu and supposedly hollowell should have too.

Very well said. I agree. Tim isn't from hopkinsville, I understand that. But the kids at Fort Campbell live very unique lives. Even in these times when we don't think we are at "war" Fort campbell soldiers are being deployed all the time to hostile spots. The last few weeks a bunch of soldiers have been getting back from iraq. I wouldn't have said that about any team, but saying it about Fort Campbell is even worse.

He was going off about how "I know we will play for a district title. We aren't losing to fort Campbell, they're terrible. No way they are beating us". Just came off very disrespectful

Coach hayworth's rant after the game was troubling as a hoptown fan. He more-less disrespected fort Campbell. Those kids deal with a ton. Soldiers have been deployed and he trashed their team. I'd like to hear an apology. Last year he had the altercation with the fan from county after we lost and now he goes after fort Campbell after losing to county? Weird and troubling.

County had 1 extra day of rest. Don't think the scheduling had anything to do with it.

Go back and look at what I said after the hoptown game. Playing this crazy pressing style opens up so many things like this up. If you break our press we are done. Embarassinf result.

I'll also add. Refs let them play tonight. Benefited us. We were very physical with them. A Game called tight is another worry with the style we are playing right now.

We went on a run to get it to about 20 and never looked back. Blazers played much better in second half. Our pressure got to them and not by the time they adjusted it was too late. We also dominated the boards which was probably the difference. I worry that we depend too much on creating turnovers to win. That system has failed us over and over and over and over against good teams in Lexington on the bigger court and against bigger teams. My biggest critique of Tim. He refuses to force his teams to learn to play halfcoirt defense, and once he hits a game where they have to do it, they aren't capable.

In terms of the game. I think we will win by about 8-12. UHA may lead early. I still think we will lose Saturday for some reason. And I'm calling UHA over County in first round of district. In retrospect, UHA didn't really play well until the end of the 3rd quarter and 4th quarter against County...

Honestly, I'd get there sooner. With there being a girls game before hand I'd make sure I had a spot by 6:00 or so. County v. hoptown game probably won't be as bad simply because of the size of the gym.

Hoptown by 12 in a game that is close throughout but hoptown wears them down. I'll call it now. We lose to county on Saturday though.

Defense... though uha is playing much better. Their tough schedule is starting to benefit them and their young guys are growing up a bit.

My tigers better be ready Thursday night. Uha was down 16 at one point in the second half.

I sure hope so... I try to look at it objectively. With what happened last night... I have my worries... We will be solid, for sure. Just not sure if we aren't about to hit one of the lulls that all of the programs seem to hit in the 8th district.

County does that to teams... I went to their game vs. uha and it was a very close game until they went on one big run and stretched it from a 2 point game to something like 18. It usually happens when Ware gets open for 3 several times.

How many times have you watched them play? Their defense is DRASTICALLY improved over last year.

I'd say hollowell and Tandy are the best in WKY with Cager and Johnson right behind them. I haven't seen enough in central KY and Louisville to compare.

And just best crittenden who beat trigg twice this year.

I'm a hoptown guy. But coach frankie probably wants henderson to be considered 3rd because he hear's uha's footsteps catching up to him... Their middle school teams aren't very good this year and with what he's losing off this year's team I'm sure he's scrambling for whatever he can to be decent next year. My tigers have already re-assumed the throne atop district 8... To be honest, I'm more worried about UHA for the next few years than county. UHA is playing MUCH better and has an incredibly young group. Their 8th grade team is one of the best we've seen around here in a long time. They have the next great guard around here too in crump. We will be REALLY good again next year with Shorty and Johnson returning, but the cycle seems to be shifting a touch right now. (Thank god sebree transferred to county two years ago and james nicholas came to us)...
