Jags going have to hold on to the ball, 2RV fumbles didn't help last week & the struggle of offensive & defensive lines been rough all season. Field is probably going be sloppy, so holding onto the ball is key. QB does a nice job protecting the ball when he scrabbles & runs. If Jags can get a few big plays & no TO's if could be closer than I 1st posted...not much knowledge of PRP, but they've played some tough teams. Hopefully Jags can shock everyone & get a Win.

I agree Ryle wins by 20 w/ 5 To"s & actually over 100 yrds penalties...actually more than that cause 2 of Ryle's touchdowns called back w/penalties & I know 1 was a 40+ yards TD. Freshman QB will be good, yet coaches can't rely on him to run the ball so much. He was sacked 3+ times & 3 interceptions. Why isn't Scharlman getting any time @ RB? I thought he was considered key player in early season interviews from Borchers, yet he's not getting any carries, thrown too, etc on offense. Armour punted the ball well tonight & think he should be in more of the offensive game plan.. totally an ugly win for Ryle, yet uglier loss for Cooper.

I agree 2 turnovers on kickoffs, 1 interception returned for TD. RB ran well, yet QB ran more & backwards for negative yrds...yet he's a freshman lots to learn...very athletic kid w/ a bright future. 2 jr receivers that played varsity mins last yr & did a nice job not getting enough touches along w / sophmore RB needing more carries. Fact remains Dixie isn't in top 10 n.ky & beat jags by 16 pts. Jags are young, yet not sure future is bright w/ JV & Freshman jags struggling also. Jags 0-6 & Dixie was a possible win for them.... Next 4 games...hoping Jags can @ least pull out 1 win. Borchers has now tried 3 QB's, switched lots players/positions & still 0-6.

Last time I heard Football is a TEAM sport & there's no I in team... On that 180yrds & about 30 carries by freshman QB...does that include the negative 40-50 yrds running backwards?

Apparently people think N.ky Ftball teams stay in the lockerroom during the anthem...I've only seen 1 n.ky Ftball team do so, but I'm not sure, I'm not at every n.jy game every Friday night.

I hope the Jags pull out a W! They need the confidence to get thru the rest of the season. It's been a very rough 0-5 start.

Venture to say what you want. Cooper is the only N.ky team this year I've seen in the lockerroom & not on the field standing during the national anthem. All opponents been on the field as a team standing. So my question here is....What HS teams in Ky aren't on the field standing during the pledge of than Cooper football???

Looks like Borchers is trying a 3rd QB that's 5'5 freshman this week, no telling though he changes his mind at the drop of a hat. Jags will be lucky to win 1 game this season. I understand they are young, but there seems to be some talent not being used. Perry hardly even getting the ball thrown to him maybe 1 time a game. It's ugly & doesn't seem to be getting any better for the Jags. Oh yeah, & a side note Borchers keeps team in lockerroom during national anthem each week... Class act!

What a great game... thought SK was going dominate them, yet didn't... Was a great game to watch, yet SK is by far no match to Cov Cath....yet huh....not scheduled to play but supposed to b 2 best teams in nky? Someone explain that? I'd say CCH by 21+

I agree the O & D lines are Cooper's biggest issues, along with QB position. Armour is pretty much being thrown into a position that he's not comfortable at & it's sad because he's a great slot receiver. When you look @ the JV & freshman team there's not a lot of help coming in the next few years. They are struggling also. The sophmore class seems to be the class w/ the most talent of the 4 in several different positions, yet the junior & senior classes are very limited in # on the field. It's frustrating & I hope the Jags can at least pull out a few wins.

Sit some players not giving effort & give more young players a chance that are busting their butts in practice. At least they will get some minutes to help prepare them for next year & possibly motivate some that aren't stepping up. It can't hurt @ this point.
