  1. One concern with Danville is their conditioning. They have a lot of guys cramping up in every game. Tonight's game concerns me because it wasn't as hot. Just something to watch.
  2. Yes and they will continue to get better. People who watch them know that they will be tough to deal with. They have their numbers up throughout their little leagues and a lot of talent at all ages. They will be scary for a while folks. Get used to it!
  3. Thanks for the vote I know you always have our back!
  4. As I had said before, This is probably Danvilles year, they were a year ahead last year now they will be a force year after year. I would still take Boyle over both lca and somerset but to be fair I haven't seen them yet.
  5. Wait till thunder1 sees this!
  6. I would agree if he led with his head or launched. Even with all the rules there are still just blocks that can be within the rules that are dangerous. I think it was just a good block and fortunately the kid did get up. Though I don't know his injury or status he was able to walk off field.
  7. To be noted this team will only get better this year. Still a lot of young talent finding its way but boy they look good.
  8. I expect a good game. It took Clevenger a few years but he has the Ads back in the title picture every year I think. Many people forget that a lot of these kids got to play half of a lot of their games last year so they aren't totally green.
  9. Dampier didn't get into a passing offense really until last year, but based off that and playing three or more quarters he would have big numbers as well. I have seen a lot of high school qb's and Dampier is pretty good, the best qb I have seen in a couple of years.
  10. I haven't seen a lot of qb's across the state but he has to be up there. I am really surprised that there isn't more talk about him.
  11. If you know anything scrimmages are just guidelines for measuring your team
  12. I heard to play in front of family not sure
  13. Not that it indicates but he was also at Danvilles last game and he also has some family in Danville. Would love to see him in Danvilles offense with Dampier throwing him the ball
  14. Really would have liked to seen Danville in this game. Think that mayfield and Danville were two best teams.
  15. Many people thought that this year was their rebuilding year with next year being their year. Though they lose a lot they also have quite a few really talented underclass men that got limited minutes. Also their line should be getting more size and strength. i believe this if the returning players get after it in the offseason they will be just as successful next year. There are enough playmakers returning to make them dangerous for a run again.
  16. Tell them to watch the video it's clearly on there. Right after a play. It was on #72 For Danville right after the play
  17. He was at game....that would be dangerous!
  18. He didn't get one but he deserved to be thrown out of game in the second quarter.
  19. Hate to lose, especially when you outplay someone. I only will argue two plays with the refs. One is the Lawrence kid should have been tossed or at least penalized for beating one of Danvilles lineman helmet into the ground. Second was the reverse Danville ran for a TD there was no holding especially where they called it cause 13 barely even pushed the corner. Take that play and the horrible play call on 3 and 1 at the 1 and this game would have been over. Never mind the two plays one to a wide open te and then the bomb off the fingertips of turner. Overall great season by Danville. Hopefully NCC can go represent the east and win. Will be excited again next year to see the Dampier, vancleive, Stanford, hill, Harris, hopefully walker and the next wave of future Admitals suit up and go for another run at the title.
  20. Who improved more than any running back I have seen throughout one year. Good speed power and has learned a few moves. Best of all he plays all out on offense and defense. Will have his named called many times Friday!
  21. I'm will say a quick but strong smaller lineman with good technique in high school. One reason I like them is most of the time the bigger d1 lineman haven't yet learned technique. They usually have fits with smaller guys. I have seen time and time again where big lines get embarrassed by small quick lines because they can't even get one step before the other guy is by them. Just my thought.
  22. Agree with thin thirty. Since the Boyle game Danville has really cut down on turnovers. Dampier doesn't throw many balls when he shouldn't and Ray does a pretty good job holding on to the ball. NCC fans, how has NCC played in the rain? For me i don't think it bothers the ads just maybe more running and selective passing.
  23. Cox, Yates, #59 20 52 were all in when Ray scored in the fourth att go look it up on highlights. Pretty sure they all start on d and that's all I could see.
