Do you think that NCC is suffering due to the success that Brosssrt is having with their program? Kids don't have to travel all the way to Newport anymore to get the Catholic Education and still be part of a successful football program

Short story long, I think we are on the same page. Even though they are not as large and the enrollment is lower NCC seems to always field a competitive team. Traditional NCC families have a lot to do with that. I remember the Sandfoss's Rob and Jim. Both great athletes and could have played on any Nky team but went to NCC because that is where their family went. And they lived in Silver Grove or Camp Springs or somewhere out by the dairy bar.

I didn't say anything about Ohio. NCC has a long tradition of families send their kids there because that is where they went. If they had the option I'm sure they would take a look at NCC even if your practice field comes equipped with a drive through window. You don't have to go too far for a frosty. And as far as Campbell county goes, Holy Trinity, St Catherine, St Therese, St Thomas and is Holy Spirit still around? I think holy Trinity is made up of St Michael St. Bernard and someone else maybe holt spirit. It's been a while since I went to St Michael when half of my friends decided to pay tuition and go to NCC and the rest went to Bellevue for free.

And the feeder schools for NCC are beginning to dry up and consolidate but there are still families that want the Catholic education for their kids. If I'm not mistaken, there are 4 or 5 Catholic grade schools in the northern part of the county. I'm sure NCC gets their fair share of kids from Covington because did the proximity

Wouldn't it make sense that when fielding a team if you have a larger pool then the chances of better athletes also increases? Sort of like throwing your money for the lottery in an office pool. You can buy your own ticket but having your money thrown in with 40 people increases your chance of winning
