The margin of Trinity's loss to Male sure makes the big game against St. X look a lot more interested on Oct 2. I just might have to heading down to Louisville. Curiouser and curiouser.

This is all about money for CCH. They didn't own the exclusive rights to the "Ole Miss" colonel image, and they were worried about their spirit shop losing money to the kiosks in the local stores that have popped up selling merchandise featuring the names of local high schools. I just don't understand why they had to completely redesign everything instead of going with one of the images that they already have the rights to (the old helmet logo, the baseball-head colonel, the colonel on the gymnasium wall, and the colonel with the angry red face).

I'm told that contrary to the Riherds/KHSAA Scoreboard, kickoff for the game on Friday is 7:00pm and not 7:30pm. Also, Sycamore's games are all played at Bud Acus Field, which is located at the Sycamore Junior High. Address is 5757 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.

Somebody posted a list of them in the updates thread, I think. I know they've played Louisville Xavier a few times recently and that never ended well.

All well and good, really it is, but why not just pick ONE game each season that would take a miracle to win? Ha And what's with the Highlands fans on here and " just sayin' "?

CCH always gets beat on when they play the big boys from across the river or down state. I don't understand why those 3 men had faith that things would be any different this year. And I'm not suggesting that they don't try to challenge themselves. I'm just saying, there are plenty of 4a, 5a and 6a teams that they could challenge themselves with instead of playing punching bag to the GCL. Maybe they need to learn to take a bus ride a little longer than 15 minutes a little more frequently. It could open up some doors to some much more reasonable competition.

So the head coach they fired, a track guy, and a basketball guy put their schedule together. Nice. Where were the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker while all that was going on?

Might have a 'lil something to do with the fact that Jeremy Robertson, Director of Soccer Operations at Kings Soccer Academy and Town & Country Director of Soccer Operations, is Covcath's head coach. Who wouldn't want to go play for the guy who's helped develop you as a player?

Take a deep breath, Cooper fans. There are 9 more weeks left in the season. Keep doing what you're doing and there's no way Colonels Wears Blue can deny you.

Not a chance that Scott can beat Beechwood and Campbell Co both. Maybe if the stars align they could beat both, but after the way they played against NewCath, I don't see them being able to beat either team, and especially not the both of them. I don't see how Lloyd Memorial could possibly beat Dixie Heights either.

I like Cooper over Highlands, but I don't think you can justify Cooper over Simon Kenton - yet.
