And here I was ... worried that both of them will ruin their bodies by playing baseball .... Thank goodness that neither of those two waste their time thinking like your post.

Stuck around for a few minutes to watch this one last night ... Time very well spent! I knew Jeremy Burns was athletic as heck ... but I walked away with a much higher opinion of his ability. I enjoy that the rivalry is there in every sport ... and it came through well in lacrosse (well as in--max effort, chippy and still respectful) I have a feeling I will be back (or staying even longer than I usually do).

As if we didn't know you were heading there. I did just tell my Mom (who turns 61 today) that she should consider herself a "prized recruit" ... because Uncle Noel gave her a tour! The reason that it is odd to you ... is probably because the team that you support does not have a new 6.2 million dollar all sports facility. Anything else other than that is completely unfounded ... and not true. If you are ever in the neighborhood ... send me an IM ... and we will give you the same tour everyone else gets ... (don't be disappointed when we don't hand you a cool million at the end)

Well ... at least you have one thing right .... definitely not an insider ... just an actual human being who works there daily ... If that means I am not an insider like you, Clyde and whoever else ... then THANK GOODNESS! I am not willing to lie ... or refute this mess any longer. So ... keep on rolling here, hoss. This is the part where it has become more than obvious that one side has a huge ax to grind ... and is willing to say whatever they can to make their point. Even if it damages people who are not even involved in this mess. So please .. continue to head in the same direction. You never know who is watching and reading ... Good luck in the future ... but then again... Beechwood runs the world apparently ... so you don't have a lot of hope. Whether you realize it or not ... you are making it look like someone made a good decision.

On the island of Clyde ... I am sure it is ..... Keep patting yourself on the back there .... anyone can repeat something that someone said ... and feel like an internet tough guy (that's probably the only thing you have ...) From what I know of the real truth ... you have hit about 4% (yes .. that is FOUR PERCENT) You really have something to be proud of. Contrary to popular opinion (which consists of you only) you are not the ultimate insider. You get some cheap thrill out of being the "guy in the know" ... you are frequently wrong ... and when refuted ... your standard claim is "I said I heard" ... yeah well ... trust me ... we know you heard. What you haven't realized yet .. is that you usually hear it from the wrong people.

Parents, alumni, parents of alumni, past players, people from the community, family (including mine), coaches from other areas, I wasn't lying about the truck driver on a Sunny Saturday afternoon .... my thought is that in his eyes ... the building belongs to and is there because of the community. So ... he makes sure that those people get to see it. Heck ... I remember a night at a scrimmage where he took 15 coaches from one staff (which is funny after We were the ones accused of "spying" on them .... )

I am going to be very direct ... this is the biggest crock of bull I have ever read. Not sure there could be a bigger fabrication in the history of this website. Noel gives about 30 tours a week ... everyone from Moms/Dads to Joe Truck Driver who hopped the guardrail on a sunny Saturday afternoon. A lot of tuition students from Lloyd? In 16 years ... I can name ONE. It is amazing to me that we go from Friday night with Clyde .... to now we have Coach Rash is the ultimate hiring/firing authority at Beechwood. Well ... I can tell you this ... I am part of the football staff ... and we did not know before everyone else. I am also not a Lloyd graduate ... so I guess I need to worry about my job (I may never sleep again .... ) You need to be very careful if you plan to head down this road. Coach Rash has had a solid working relationship with the former basketball coach (if there are any questions about that ... maybe someone needs to talk to the common denominator in the middle ... ) Not to mention ... our staff has worked with the former basketball coach in many different areas (me being one) ... and there were ZERO bad feelings with all involved. I think we have finally reached the point where your comments have logic has left the conversation. Your arguments have went from defending the former coach--to crossing so far over the line .. you are damaging his credibility without him even posting here. Not sure you guys could come up with a better plot ....

Blah, blah, blah ... same old same old. I never said the candidate lied ... which is funny ... (because now all the sudden we are talking about a "candidate") I have no clue who the candidate is ... but I do know this ... I have seen more than a few coaches who say that they have been contacted from another school ... to give them some leverage with their current situation. I very much alluded to the fact that you heard this from someone. Your truth = hearing then spreading something that you were told ... Like I said before ... if you want to take one side of the story and march it around as fact ... that's your choice.

I think you have proven that your decision making process is exceptional ... I would trade the popcorn for a B&C any day. I have tried to be clear that I don't really care if Clyde is right or not ... My point is ... there are usually at least two sides of the truth (probably more) ... Right/wrong/indifferent ... at the very least ... I am not willing to make the jump on either side. Anyone can make up a story now-a-days ... and say it is true ... even if it is not. I also understand that this may look like I am not in support of Michael. Michael is a great man and a great coach. When I came to Beechwood ... Michael is one of three people who went out of their way to make me feel like I belonged. That is something that I will never forget. My thoughts on this topic have NOTHING to do with Michael ... it has everything to do with the way Clyde seems to think that he is judge, jury and executioner.

Come on man .. this is the 21st century (I think) ... popcorn is a 30 second drive away. I see your point ... I thought that I did a decent job of stating that both sides confirmed the conversation ... but .. I am, after all, a Conner graduate ... which means things will always come a little tougher to me.

I could sit here all night ... and let you hang yourself .... it would be much easier I am sure. Continue to back away from the football scouting lie .... that puts you in the same category as the people that you got the story from (and guess what ... you passed that sucker through here more than a few times ... verdict: GUILTY) And if you are in the habit of ... and admit that you and everyone else only listen to ONE SIDE of a story ... and you can live with that ... I am pretty sure that you are the one with a problem. According to your genius theory .. my brother and father could have a conversation on the phone. My brother tells you that my Dad does not love me ... and because ONE PERSON in a two person conversation told you that ... you say that 99.99% of people would consider that fact? How about this ... I call you on the phone and say that I think you are a great guy ... you get off the phone and call your buddy and tell him that I called you and said you were a jerk ... are you really trying to say that 99.99% would say "well .. that's what Clyde told me .. so it has to be good enough?" I don't even know how to respond to that .... if I ever live my life like that ... I hope God takes me out of my misery. I think that the problem is ... is that you are like that .. and have proven it with your rumors and hearsay time and time again. If you can look at yourself in the mirror ... good for you ... you have so much to be proud of.

Geesh Clyde ... I know we went to the same high school ... but at the end of the day ... I didn't realize that the quality was so much higher in the 90's. Two people on a phone call ... blah, blah, blah. But ... I will go ahead and spell it out .. again. Scenario 1: Principal, hiring/firing authority FROM Beechwood call your "friend" ... your friend tells you that the person FROM Beechwood called them to gauge their interest in a position that is currently filled ... Then YOUR FRIEND TELLS You that this happened ... you take that as truth (even though you really have no way of knowing because you haven't spoken to the principal or hiring/firing authority). You proceed to tell that story over and over ... HEARSAY. Scenario 2: Same story ... but ... YOU (meaning Clyde) talk to the person from Beechwood who made the call to your "friend" and they CONFIRM that they called your "friend" to gauge their interest = FACT. Remember the football deal ... where you "heard" a story ... that pointed the finger at a certain staff? Same thing. You "heard" it from someone. Same thing here ... your "friend" told you a story .. that you choose to take as fact. Guess what ... if it wasn't confirmed by the person who made the call ... then it still falls as hearsay. Like I said before ... if you tell me that you talked to Ben, or someone in the position of authority .. and THEY CONFIRMED your story ... I will apologize to you everyday for the rest of your life .. and admit that I was wrong. Did your buddy tape record the call? Play it for us ... again ... I will deliver my apology daily for the rest of your life. The fact of the matter is this ... I have no clue what happened. You think you know what happened ... because someone told you a story that you can not verify (or haven't verified) from both sides. It gets old Clyde .. you throw this stuff out there ... you think it will stick because you or one of your buddies is the source. At the end of the day ... when you are challenged to prove your story ... you continue to say "100% confirmed" .. Well ... guess what ... my Conner math is obviously better than yours ... because the most you could truly claim would be 50% confirmed. So ... keep on saying "100% confirmed" ... like I said before .. you haven't confirmed your story with anyone at Beechwood ... so continue to destroy your credibility ... just makes it easier for me. And for the record ... I will say this one last time ... I have no clue who did what. It would not bother me at all if other people have inside information here. I have plenty to keep me busy. But the disinformation campaign that you wage with constant hearsay is getting old. I have a hard time believing that you will ever be in the Beechwood circle of trust with your history .... (see ... you make it way too easy).

I must know you .... because I have been wearing my red sunglasses all week (probably because I got them last week ... the new hasn't worn off yet). Even if Clyde has it right ... it isn't because he heard it from the actual person who said it (which makes it hearsay). At the end of the day ... I love Beechwood ... and everyone there (including the people who don't like me). Things could be a lot worse for everyone.

No ... I will end it this way ... your claim that it is fact is only true if YOU WERE ON THE OTHER END OF A CALL FROM FORT MITCHELL. Game/Set/Match .... you keep stacking them up ... and I will keep on knocking them down ...

One more point Clyde, (because you obviously are having trouble with double standards this evening) unless Ben Zimmerman told you this .. then you have absolutely have no proof that this was done. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hearsay (pretty sure that verification in this case--would be from the person who was making the calls ... not the receiver of the calls) I admit that I was obviously NOT in the loop ... as I stated earlier ... I am there everyday .. and this was the very FIRST time I have heard about it. Does that mean that other people have? Sure ... of course ... and thank goodness I didn't hear about it earlier than today. The point is this ... unless the hiring/firing authority at Beechwood told you that he/she was making calls to gauge interest .. then you are simply injecting hearsay into the situation. Justify it however you want ... it is what it is. And just in case you are struggling to comprehend my point .. it doesn't matter if Ben knows or not .. what matters is ... you claim it to be FACT ... when you did not hear it FROM BEN. Again ... hearsay. (Again .. just like the football deal ... ). If you believe your source .. cool ... no problem. That still does not mean that it is fact. IT MEANS THAT YOU HEARD IT FROM SOMEONE YOU TRUST ... NOT FROM THE HIRING/FIRING AUTHORITY. The real question is ... does it matter? I say yes ... because if someone other than the ultimate hiring/firing authority told you that they were contacted ... then guess what ... that person isn't doing much for their credibility (which is my opinion). I am sure your buddy is going to be happy about the fact that you have added another layer of hearsay to the subject as well. And .. lets get a couple things straight here ... it wouldn't matter if this were about the soft blue Rebels ... I would still say the same thing to you right now.

So ... let me get this straight ... Ben Zimmerman called you and said this was true? If so ... my sincerest apologies. Otherwise ... if you are repeating something that you were told ... even from someone you trust ... still pretty sure that is heresay. I would be willing to bet that you did not hear from the person who has ultimate hiring authority at Beechwood ... which means again .. that ... you are repeating what someone else told you. Sure sounds like that football story ... just sounds like you learned to be a little more cautious with your "I heard" this time around. If you call that loyalty ... so be it ... at the end of the day ... you have proven time and time again that you enjoy relaying messages that "you heard" ... which again ... means that at the most ... you have 50/50 credibility. Not to mention .. if you have a source who was contacted ... and you know it to be the truth ... I would probably bet some cookies and coke that the person in question won't be very high on the list as this plays out .... At the end of the day ... Michael is a good guy and a good coach. I have no clue what happened ... and it isn't my business anyway.

Come on Clyde ... stick to things you know. I work at Beechwood ... I am there everyday ... and this afternoon was the first time that I heard anything about it at all. Kind of hard to believe you when one of your sentences starts with: "I heard about it ...." Reminds me of another situation that you trumpeted ... something about Beechwood coaches "scouting" a practice? Yeah .. that one happened too ....

Again ... I guess the part where you fail to read ... or fail to comprehend basic sentences continues to be a huge issue for you. That was the first post from either of you that actually presented FACTS (look it up ... may do you some good). You have yet to bring any facts to the table (you have brought a ton of opinions ... which have been debunked). If anything ... you probably owe plainspoken an adult beverage or two ... for helping you make your point. Now ... whether you like it or not .. WKY is still extremely close to NKY in my OPINION. Plainspoken did a great job by pointing out championships as well as 3rd round appearances for NKY (which completely blew away any thought of mentioning geography at all ... because NKY is definitely not the largest populated area in the state .. which in turn makes your argument. (See that ... no problem saying that your point was proven ... on the other hand ... it was done by someone else for you .. so you can't really count that one in your win column). I have a feeling that you can't comprehend anything I have written above ... so you go ahead and keep acting like you have accomplished something. I know a "few" Trinity people as well .. their opinion was ... great coach .. not sure if it was going to be the right fit. From there ... you failed to take five minutes to read the thread. And it is OBVIOUS ... because all you have done is continued to make MY POINT!!

Lloyd Memorial: 1976 (37 years ago ... may as well of been 1876) Boone: ZERO State Championships (Last thought of as a Large School power in the 90's ... and have had really good seasons lately and really bad seasons as well). Still ZERO state championships) Cooper: Brand new ... great effort in the finals Ryle: Yeah .. In the finals (umm ... because X was on the other side of the bracket) SK: Again .. Yeah .. In the finals (because X was on the other side of the bracket) Lets look at WKY: Mayfield (goes without saying) Paducah Tilghman (won the big one a few years back) Lone Oak (Have been to the finals recently) Murray (Right in the mix the last few years) Caldwell County (One in the 90's ... almost won this past year) Christian County (Pretty sure they have been to the big show lately) Bowling Green (Thats right ... pretty sure they have won a few) I would be willing to bet money that PER CAPITA ...
