The committee feels they are doing a good thing by giving teams outside of Jefferson County a runner-up trophy.

I thought he Woolford and his staff showed their lack of experience from day one. His first year when X had Charles Walker and Austin Davis, that team had the talent to win the state title, and they went 7-5, lost early in the tournament.

Oh yeah, that was the scrimmage that is going to propelled SK to the state championship. The practice game that proved SK is the best team in the state. You know, the preseason game that shows that SK is better than Male and T. Didn't you know you can use that St X tryout game to give you a good indicator of how much better SK is than the Louisville schools.

They do not have the same access, Male and Manual do not have district they have feeder schools,and the option to take other students that qualify of their choice to fill out their student body. I mentioned Eastern, because I am familiar with their enrollment rules, they take all district students and only a select number of openings for out of district. Both of my children went there and had several of their friends get turned down and was told to stay In their district. In college your are not stuck in a district, you can play wherever you want. In JCPS you have to play in your district unless you get special permission. Another example, my nephew, a decent football player, wanted to go to another out of district school was denied, and made to go to school in his district.

Okay than why do all the other public schools football teams suck, maybe because they don't have the same access to the talent, like you say. My point

I no several kids that try to go out of district to Eastern high school and were turned down.

I no several kids that went to Catholic grade school and got excepted to Male and Manual. Actually one of the young men was excepted because he was a good soccer player.

It is easier to build a program when you are a traditional school and you have access to any out of district athelete. Male's freshman teams have been almost unbeatable the past 4 years and it's not because of Wolfe, it's because they have access to talent that the other public schools don't.

I took it as this is not the most talent T team he has seen, that was the 2011 team.

Big difference, SK was set with their system, their lineup, and I bet returned a lot more starters. X was trying to find an QB, and trying to learn a new offense, and returned 3 starters on offense and defense.

You and that darn scrimmage, it's meaningless. X is not the same team.

I agree a lot defenses game plan to win the turnover battle, and win games because of it. The turnover game also can be inconsistent and no guarantee. This why I repeat that X needs to do better offensively and win the turnover battle to beat a team the caliber of Male.

Yes, X gained 142 and 145 total yards, in each of those games, that will not beat Male or T unless there are alot of turnovers and mistakes.
