Trinity

I would think Male but perhaps it's because of their defense that they've been able to put up good numbers.

SK has 1,137 yards passing 10 tds and 2,410 yards rushing 38 tds in 8 games.

Love T, but I'm going to say Male

Running game has to go to Scott co. But trinity an male probably has the best all around offense . If everyone can stay healthy. Scott co will have at least 2, thousand yard backs. Maybe 3 if they go a few rounds into the playoffs

Best scheme goes to T; best athletes #1-11 probably goes to H. Best play calling? Let's leave that until a few rounds of the playoffs have passed.

Male. Good-sized line, fast and talented backs, big-play receivers, and a sound QB. Plus, they seem to not care if they run it or throw it. They are able to do both, which presents a tremendous challenge for the defense.

Trinity has a well-balanced offense as well, and may have the edge in the offensive line, but Male simply has more talent and speed.

Half of those passing yards & td's were against Highlands defense who's wheels completely fell apart by half time

And they aren't even on the radar.

And they aren't even on the radar.

Come on UK, you know EVERYTHING in Jeff Co. is better than anything up here in the suburbs of Cincy. We're just a backwater port on the Ohio. They run things down there in looievull.

And they aren't even on the radar.

And why not? Because you say? Other than the head to head games of T vs H and T vs Scott Co neither of the other 2 schools schedule has been significantly better than SKs. I acknowledge T's early schedule had some serious competition on it but would argue with the lack of defense played in CKY Scott Co may have had easier defenses to go against. I know history shows that it is an up hill battle trying to compete against the Louisville schools but I am going to go out on a limb and say all 4 teams mentioned offensive numbers are relatively close. I will also say that all 4 teams numbers are hindered by having their JVs play a lot of minutes in the second halves of games. Since there is a good chance these 4 will meet in either a regional final or semi-state it will all get worked out on the field. For the record I think the 6A ranking is right on. The only thing we don't know is the size of the separation between those 4.

I would agree that SK is on the radar, however they aren't at the level of Male/Trinity yet.

I am confused by your mention of Trinity vs Scott County as they have never played each other in the regular season to my knowledge and definitely did not play this year.

Trinity has played three teams that are better than anyone SK has played (Male, Brentwood, St.X) and beaten two of them. Trinity has also beaten three teams equal to the best teams SK has beaten (Ensworth, Lafayette, PRP vs Cooper, Bryan Station) and won by a better score on average. (45, 70, 44 avg. 53 vs 26, 52 avg. 39). In regards to your point about the JV, Trinity has started the fourth quarter with JV in five games: Lafayette, PRP, Eastern, Jeffersontown, and Seneca (possibly six, I'd have to check the Ensworth game tape again). I have only seen SK's game vs Cooper, but I had the impression that most of their games were still disputed into the fourth quarter. How many games have they started the fourth quarter with JV?

Sorry about the Scott Co vs T reference I was thinking of the Lafayette vs T game. Scott Co did play Cincy Elder though.

SK has had 5 games where the JV was in starting the 4th quarter. Boone, Campbell, Dixie, Conner, and Highlands. Two of those games had the starters out to start the third qtr. The only thing I would consider disputing is moving the ST X is better than anyone we have played to St X is equal to anyone we have played. They did lose to Central I believe.
