Sorry about the Scott Co vs T reference I was thinking of the Lafayette vs T game. Scott Co did play Cincy Elder though.

SK has had 5 games where the JV was in starting the 4th quarter. Boone, Campbell, Dixie, Conner, and Highlands. Two of those games had the starters out to start the third qtr. The only thing I would consider disputing is moving the ST X is better than anyone we have played to St X is equal to anyone we have played. They did lose to Central I believe.

 

Interesting. I didn't realize that SK lead by those margins early on. I would dispute the St. X point, though. Yes, they did lose to Central, but they have also beaten Bowling Green, Manual, and PRP. Their defense also held Trinity and Male to their lowest scores this year. Every rating system I've checked has St. X ahead of both Cooper and Bryan Station.

 

Come on UK, you know EVERYTHING in Jeff Co. is better than anything up here in the suburbs of Cincy. We're just a backwater port on the Ohio. They run things down there in looievull.

SK does seem to be the only school that understands the need for balance on offense and I definitely think they deserve credit for that.

Sk has been undefeated the last couple years up until about the second week of the playoffs. When they play a team NOT from Nky. An they have lost. U gotta beat the best before u can claim to be the best

Yes, the situation is remarkably like Dixie Heights last year. Given the outcome of that game few people will favor SK vs Male or Trinity. Honestly, SK should be most concerned with Scott County. That semi-final won't be easy.

Big difference, SK was set with their system, their lineup, and I bet returned a lot more starters. X was trying to find an QB, and trying to learn a new offense, and returned 3 starters on offense and defense.

Well... Louisville teams have won 33 of the 4A/6A state titles out of 40 total.

 

Out of the remainder: Lexington-area teams have 3, WKY teams have 2 and two counties close to Louisville (Nelson and Shelby) each have 1.

 

NKY schools have only made it to the finals 7 times.

 

I dunno about 'everything' but big school football is certainly better. :lol2:
