  1. LC crowd looks to be rather small. Figured they would travel better than this.
  2. As a former player I didn't like it when we had to line up for the national anthem at certain road games. It messed with my focus and intensity going into the game. I would take my mind off the game and focus on those who sacrificed for our country and how thankful I am to be born and raised here and then have to try to get back in game mode. I was better off being in the locker room where I couldn't hear it. That's probably just me though haha
  3. Catholic has long been Boyle County's Achilles heel. Even the most dominant of Boyle's teams were only able to beat LC by a couple of points. It seems like their offense knows exactly how to exploit the BC defense and because of that tonight definitely worries me. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see LC operate on all cylinders and win this thing. The biggest key for Boyle is to make sure the LBs cover the hook to curl zone. If they do...BC will pull away with it. If not...Good Night Rebs.
  4. AA needs to keep an eye on the ADS. They're being overlooked by a lot of people outside of the Central Ky area. Looking like a team that can make a run in the playoffs. Not sure if they're all the way to state material but you never know what can happen in November & December.
  5. Leffew has Lincoln playing no quit football. Will help those boys down the road in life regardless of the outcome of their season.
  6. I think Boyle will get to the 36 point lead as quick as possible and then work on the run game that Chuck says he wants to improve. I think it will be about halfway through the 2nd quarter when the running clock sets in. Lincoln is a running team so it will speed the clock up a bit when they have the ball. A lot of mercy will be shown due to Chuck going against a former player.
  7. Within 3A is a different story though. Belfry, Central and Catholic all could challenge them. Catholic seems to always hit their groove by the time the Boyle game rolls around.
  8. As far as any team in 2A competing with Boyle...not even close. Maybe DeSales or mayfield could stay within 21 vs the varsity. (Danville got within 22 with late scores vs the JV team). As far as 4A South warren could hang only because their coach knows the entire Boyle offensive and defensive schemes. Johnson Central could keep it close 7-14 points. In 5A I don't see anyone who could pull off a W. In 6A Male and Scott County I would say definitely beat Boyle. Trinity probably would beat them and that's about it. IMO only 2 teams I would guarantee a Boyle loss and 4 more would make it a heck of a game. Everyone else just isn't on that level this year.
  9. what about TD passes in a half? I think Josie just might have that one now.
  10. Wow! Anyone know what the school record at Boyle is for TD passes in a game? I should know this but I don't. I want to say it's 5 or 6. Jeff or Bart may have put up 7 but I don't think so.
  11. Going to go with the homer pick Yet again. Cats by 5! I'll probably join the students and rush the field just for the adrenaline rush
  12. I called it in the prediction thread. Cats by 4!
  13. I will have to agree! Central beating X was huge for 3A
  14. Congrats to Harrison County!!! A win was long overdue! I hope to see you build on this
  15. Side note Anderson County needs a quality Ball Person. I'm tired of taking their kickoffs that go through the end zone back over to them
  16. I am not afraid to admit I was wrong. @PurplePride92 was correct. Tiller and some other backups have started the half
  17. Would be smart to keep Josie out of the game though. He is a player that we must keep healthy!
  18. @PurplePride92 from my experiences playing under Coach Smith he always liked to see the varsity play one solid series after the half and then he would pull them. That was almost 10 years ago though so he may have changed his philosophy these days.
  19. Should see one more varsity series after the half and then it'll be subs, JV and possibly Freshman team to finish the game
  20. Anderson defense is completely overmatched. Game could be over quick if their O doesn't get something going and soon
  21. The biggest improvement in a season is made from game 1 to 2. Whoever makes the biggest improvement wins this game. Both teams looked rough at times in game one. I'm taking the biased, optimistic, homer pick. Cats by 4
  22. Burgin hasn't lost a football game in my entire lifetime! Maybe he should've stayed.
