  1. Halftime Johnson Central 34 Boyd County 0 Perry must have close to 200 yards so far.
  2. Halftime Ashland 14 Greenup County 7
  3. Caleb Jones with the spin move before bolting 72 yards to put West Jessamine in front. 14-7 Colts 3:00 2Q
  4. Kasen Brock went 70+ for that last touchdown. You don't see SW give those up very often.
  5. Greenup is on the board. 14-7 Ashland 9:00 2Q
  6. Perry houses another one, this time from midfield. 14-0 JC 4:00 1Q
  7. It's 7-0 JC after a 70 yard touchdown run by Braxton Perry. He's a sight for sore eyes if you're a Golden Eagles fan. Mid 1Q
  8. If Russell gave Ashland a game last week, the Tomcats can't overlook the Musketeers. Could be a competitive game in Lloyd.... or an Ashland blowout. I just have a feeling it's going to be the latter.
  9. South Warren Bryan Station Franklin-Simpson McCracken County Michigan Tiebreaker: 46
  10. Former Bowling Green star Deuce Bailey throwing seeds on ESPN tonight.
  11. Page gives South a big edge at QB. Ridner has a bright future and has had a good year so far, but he's a freshman. Page can shoulder the load for the Spartans, while Pulaski will likely want to take as much pressure off of Ridner as they can. That means Kasen Brock pounding the rock behind one of the state's best offensive lines. Boards is the x-factor for me. He gives South an explosive element in the backfield and they utilize him heavily in the passing game. I think they'll come up with a variety of ways to get him the ball. I expect a great game, but have questions about Pulaski's ability to throw when/if the running game isn't clicking. It's much easier to throw when it's on your terms. South's defense has a reputation for dictating the terms more often than not. Give me South Warren by 10.
  12. Goodin didn't play against Scott County last year. This is one of those rare occasions where I think one player may be enough to make up that much ground. I'm picking the Cardinals, but I can easily see Goodin going ham and making Scott County sweat it out in the 4Q. He's about as dialed in as you can get right now.
