The Indians had one of their biggest offensive struggles of the season but the defense came to play once again. Junior Luke Janes led the Indians with 19 points and 12 rebounds.

Best win of the season for the indians tonight as they improve to 8-5 and Washington falls to 10-4. Adair was led in scoring by junior Lucas Pooler with 25 points

Indians with a big road win against a solid Green County team who was 7-2 coming in. Junior Lucas Pooler led the way with 15 and 8th grade Connor Loy played a great game contributing 12 points.

The indians took the rivalry game last night in a close one. This was their first win over Taylor since 2017. Adair was led by junior Lucas Pooler with 16 points, and senior Aaron Steele with 16 as well.

Indians moved to 2-0 in this one and it sure was a good one. Junior Lucas Pooler led Adair with 27 points followed by 8th grader Connor Loy with 20.

Indians start the season with not the prettiest of game but a win. Senior Aaron Steele led the way with 18 points, followed by junior Lucas Pooler with 15, and junior Luke Janes with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Couple of notes I wanted to add. Bardstown also added 6'5 SR Andrew Mason who came over from Thomas Nelson, he averaged 20 ppg and 8 reg last season. Marion County added 6'7 James Jewell arguably the top junior in the state from Eastern HS. He is currently ineligible though there will be an appeal, and even if that fails he could be back for postseason play. Also did not see 6'3 SR Anthony Bowen mentioned for John Hardin. He moved in last season from Texas and arguably could be their best player this season. Also to add if there were a top 10 players list in no order I would probably say it would look something like: Jaquais Franklin- Etown Javaughn Smith- Bardstown Anthony Bowen- John Hardin Andrew Mason- Bardstown Bryce Riley- Bardstown Camden Williams- Etown Devon Rogers- John Hardin Gunner Bush- Green County Khia Sherrard- Etown Josh Burkhead- Washington County *James Jewell- Marion County (Currently Ineligible)

Surprised Marshall county with Zion Harmon is not in there.

Would like help making a list of current former KY high school players at D1 colleges right now to keep up with them.

Connor Loy of Adair County would be #1 shooter in 2025 from last season as he hit 1.6 3's per game on 36 % shooting as a 7th grader.

Forgot Male returns Kaleb Glenn so they definitely will be right in the mix as well. Just know that they lost a lot other than him.

Not sure how I would rank them but the top 5 teams to me would be: Ballard, Ashland, Elizabethtown, Covington Catholic, and Lexington Catholic. Other teams who would be in the mix are Oldham County, Bowling Green, Somerset, and Fern Creek.

The Indians are riding a 2 game win streak, set at 2-2 on the year, and looking for their first 3 win season since 2016. Casey County is 1-2 but have really struggled lately and coming off a bye week. This will be a district contest and could have playoff implications.

The Indians played their best game of the year and improve to 2-2 on the season. This is the first time they have won back to back games since 2016. Up next for them will be a big district game next week as they host Casey County.

The indians will now head to Berea after their game with Glasgow this week was cancelled. Adair is coming off a win over Hart County and sit at 1-2. Berea is 0-3 to start the season.

This is a district matchup between the Scotties and Indians. Glasgow won both meetings last year 50-22 and 42-8. Glasgow comes in with a 2-1 record and coming off a 36-0 loss to South Warren. Adair comes in at 1-2 picking up their first win of the season last week against Hart County. Glasgow is led by RB Hunter Scott and QB John Myers. Glasgow will have a big advantage in the speed department but Adairs run game should help them at least move the ball some.

Indians were down 3-0 at halftime but a pair of interceptions from the defense and solid run game in the second half get them their first win of the season. Adair will travel to Glasgow next week for another district game.

Very big pickup for Marion who lost their top 4 scorers from last year. They will be largely young and inexperienced though so I do not see them as a serious region title threat.

I think it should be a fairly competitive game since Adair has better skill players than years past but their line play was pretty suspect last week and thats where Rockcastle will have the biggest advantage to me.

Metcalfe County is the home team.

Adair won this game 24-20 last year but Metcalfe returns every player. The Indians will have a new QB in 6'4 JR Luke Janes, and also a new wideout coming from Greenwood in Aaron Steele. This should be the best Adair team since 2016-17 when they won 9 games. Metcalfe is always well coached and never an easy out so I see this game coming down to the wire.
