According to reports over the weekend on twitter from Travis Gaf & Kentuckiana Hoops, the states top junior has left Eastern and went to Marion County. 

Very big pickup for Marion who lost their top 4 scorers from last year. They will be largely young and inexperienced though so I do not see them as a serious region title threat. 

A big loss for Eastern, who was looking to be in contention for the Seventh Region title this season.

Eastern picked up the pair of transfers from Ballard earlier in the off-season, not sure how they will help in replacing Jewell. 

Did Jewell play for Team Manimal?  Does anyone know?

I don't know a lot about what Kentucky high school athlete plays for what AAU program but the kids twitter account biography does say "AAU: Manimal Elite". I would assume that is the same as Team Manimal or maybe it isn't?

Yes that is the same team, I thought he did.  I was just checking.
