This season will be very interesting...think Eric Johnson of Paris got left out...everyone can't make preseason roster tho had a great summer w the louisville magic...I rank players on how they perform on the biggest stage...I'm bias becuz I'm Paris but Wells is a kid you can't game plan for becuz he hasn't been the vocal point of the offense in past years and he's a beast...he gets his w effort and heart..this year things will change and he will move up the charts...didn't play on AAU circuit this summer becuz of football camps which has mayb caused him to slip...think Jerryd Jones is down too far...3 of the top 10 guys are all family in Paris ...Wells Ashford and Blackburn...on the radar is Wells' cousin Jr Titus Ransom at Boco...as freshman Paris won the region now they are seniors....like my man Bart Scott said...Can't Wait!!

How many shot attempts for these guys? The only kid I see on the list that doesn't have plays ran for him and still is pretty much the best player on the floor is Wells of Paris...2 sport star is the best athlete on the list...can't argue w top 3 tho.

6'3 Wr JeKobi Wells of Paris is the best player on the field if Paris can keep him busy...and Hounds play physical on D they get the upset.

Coming from a Paris guy...them Polar Bears showed heart and played til the end...hats off to you guys.

Paris played MOCO 3 times last year...Canada wasn't a factor

I kno its early but a list w/o Wells is not a 10th region list.

Paris only has 2 players that have played 4 years of football...Paris got nice contributions from 4 "basketball players". Kids have decided to play and help fellow senior Wr Jekobi Wells on the gridiron. Kids are learning on the fly and if offensive line can gel...offense will put up numbers.

3 of the top players in 10th region are hooping in Paris during this rainy day...Wells, Allen, and Blackburn.

I'm already feeling the hate here...you guys claim to kno 10th region basketball...Paris is loaded...yes they lost Garrard but all region performer Wells...Sr guard Davis jrs Ashford and Johnson and Sr Sharp shooter Ryan Davis...are all returners that played big minutes last year...other teams in region are one man shows...Paris not in some top 5 is laughable.

All the guys you mentioned can play...my squad has more raw ability...more upside. 3 of the kids on my 5 are playing together this summer...3 of the top 5 players in the Region returning. Those kids will b coached and pushed n old school fashion. Weaknesses will b addressed. Next year top 5...Ohmer Crawford Wells Blackburn Jones We'll see how moderators vote. No particular position...jus best talent returning. Lets pray these kids stay healthy and compete.

Too bad we can't make it happen becuz I've watched the games jus like you but thing is we all see things different. Ohmer and Crawford can play but can they play w/o dominating the ball? Your first team players avg 10-25 attempts per player ...my five don't need the ball to b effective.

Paris has the most quality returning players...but that doesn't mean Nathan. Off season always tends to create surprises.

I never bash kids but Wilson is only D1 becuz of height and he doesn't dominate a game...his team had double digit losses to inferior competition. People say if Garrard goes d1 he would sit at the end of bench...where is Wilson goin to sit? Army love armed forces...I'm a vet but Army bball...Come on. You are down playing other kids but applauding a kid that's team under achieved jus like Paris and Garrard did.

I wouldn't do anything to jeopardize my son's future. Since you seem to kno all you should kno that Jekobi will enter his Sr season as a 16 yr old...Mayb prep schools haven't contacted you about my son but they have me...so prep school isn't a violation but I would think that you would kno that already since you are ParisPride.

Sometimes coach it comes down to he kid if he wants it he can get it...my question to you...who is D1 material in the 10th region..I believe the 17 class is better than 16 anyways. D1 doesn't define you as a person..where we are from college is an opportunity to break the cycle of prisons and institutions.

Oldercoach...is it or is it not the responsibility of a coach to get your best players ready mentally to play? Garrard didn't play well but Soph Johnson pumped in 17 which wasn't expected. The D1 comment comes from seeing the potential that he has...kids are recruited on potential you kno that...Wells is my son he's getting looks in football/basketball because of his upside. We as parents and fans can't want it more than the players tho...respectfully disagree w your take on Garrard Not having D1 potential. There are over 300 d1 colleges everyone isn't UK or UofL material.

Thts where he played this year...you saying Wells will b in a tuff position which means me as a parent will b in a tuff situation...I will not allow my son to crash and burn...he will b 16 at the beginning of his Sr year we have options if things don't change.

This may rub some Parisians the wrong way but hey things need to b addressed...As a proud supporter of Paris athletics a father of Wells and a friend of everyone that's in high places at Paris High School this is a hard pill to swallow. The perception of the Hounds always seems to rare it's ugly head in big games...Up 19 after 1st the kids done their job...now it's up to the staff to get them across the finish line...You cannot allow the team that's getting blown out to dictate what you do!! Championship of all A we have the ball w chance to tie...Turnover. Last nite same situation...same results!! We ran the same play all nite long like lionel richie!! Mason Co didn't panic and thoroughly out coached us last nite...hats off to them. Game comes down to this...Paris kids came out to play...coaches failed to make adjustments with big lead. Paris losses Garrard and Clark nxt year...we should b back to contend for region again but if things don't change we will continue to be labeled the most athletic team that can't close out a game by slowing things down and being patient.

I agree totally...Wells plays hard...don't understand y the coaching staff can't see who is giving their all and reward them w the ball to stop the bleeding when we got up 19. That relaxed style of coaching bites us every time. If we keep coaching the same we will continue to get the same results. If I was told id b up 19 after one before the game I would b ecstatic...me as a coach and staff is obligated to coach us to victory...wasn't done and very disappointing.
