I'm going to go with the underdogs in the one - Holmes. Only because it's being played at their place, and they seem to have momentum going into this game on a 2 game winning streak. I can see a big game out of their keeper, he's stepped up for their team. If Holmes comes ready to play like they have been, they'll win this game 2-1. But I'd say HC is the favorite to win.

Holmes has more options, but if they don't work together as a team they will lose..I've noticed at a game I was at their players like to play with the ball! Should be interesting to see this one play out. What time Thursday is the game?

Ah - you're talking about David Brockhoff!! He's a force to be reckon with. He will dominate Holmes defense and will control the game. Along with help of Senior Bernal I think? Holmes has talent, and I think they can surprise a lot of teams in this district.

They've got a lot of key players returning - all seniors basically. Desean Brumfield, Andrew Arnold, Shawndale Mincy, Sean Sullivan, Alex Vancini, Brennon Englemon All of those players will make an impact on Holmes team especially Desean Brumfield who is the Quaterback and Andrew Arnold (RB) Desean is a great athlete, quick, can pass, just needs the receivers. Andrew - HE WILL DOMINATE. BIG, STRONG, Fast!! Only downfall to this team may be coaching.. I don't see this team making it past the first round of the playoffs anytime soon

Holmes has a shot at making an appearance at regionals this year, as long as they don't meet CCH in the first round of the District Tournament. Tom Haggard has changed Holmes program tremendously since taking over. I expect Holmes program to grow and grow as long as he is in charge. The Bulldogs have returning juniors Kerry Nolasco and Joshua Lemus who will play a tremendous roll in their play. They also have a freshman he's another Lemus, saw him play a couple times at the JV level, he'll help this team a bit too. Only struggle I can see Holmes having trouble filling a spot from losing last years seniors is in the Net. Logan Daniel is a huge loss for the bulldogs. Good luck to Holmes this year - my prediction is they'll have a winning record and make an appearance to Regionals.

What're the odds of this happening.. Kinda sucks to go to rupp and play a team from your area, but how'd we know it would be Scott and Campbell in the 10th finals..

Congrats!! Very impressive for only being a 3 year starter. This kid has had an a phenomenal career, his demeanor towards the game is reliant-less! I wish him the best of luck tomorrow night and at WVU

It is time for round three. The Lady Bulldogs and Lady Indians meet again for a re-match of the 35th District championship. Indians have won both meetings between the two this season with the last one being a 22 point victory taking the crown as district champs. Who wins this game and represents the 9th at Diddle? Why?

I love both teams, but I'm gonna take the Birds in this rematch by 3! I'm sure they want revenge.

Never put my input: so here it is.. I think Holmes takes this one by 7 or more. With Tubbs in the line up and the way she played Tuesday Night was unbelieveable! Tubbs is not the whole team, but she has an impact on both ends of the court. Also, if Gulley plays physical and goes up strong with the ball like she did earlier this season, she will have a huge game. Harris always give 110 percent. Holmes just needs to come ready to play and defend the 3. NCC can run with the Bulldogs.. This will be a great game and NCC will not go down without a fight.

Holmes and NCC meet again in the second semi final game Saturday night at 7:30 or later depending on the Highlands and Holy Cross game before. Earlier this season Holmes outlasted the Breads by 2. Who wins this game and why??

Highlands take on Holy Cross is the semi finals saturday evening at 6 in the first game followed by Holmes and NCC at 730. Holy Cross and Highlands met earlier this season with HC taking the battle in Double OT. Who takes this one and gets a shot at the regional title and why??

I actually like that idea!! First round games usually don't get a huge crowd like the semi finals and finals do. But in reality, I doubt that will happen.

Boys too. They hardly get crowds too. Depends on the game. IMO having games at the BOK takes away the high school atmosphere playing in front of a half empty arena.

I did a little research and this is the first time since 2001 that NDA hasn't made it to the regional tournament. 14 consecutive years making it, that's crazy!!!
