  1. Fern Creek had three I believe. Chance Moore Anthony Wales Ahmad Price
  2. We are looking at moving to the Richmond area by the end of summer. My son probably going to be going to MCHS, so just curious to see that they have. I know they lost a lot of Seniors and the 2 big's were freshman.
  3. looks like you will see Dunbar - MCHS Lex Cath - Anderson Between your 4 and 7 game
  4. Runs 6/13 - 6/14 looks like Varisty, JV and Freshman for most teams but not all Clark Co Model Lincoln Co Lex Cath Anderson Co Harrison Co Dunbar Boyle Co Madison Southern Anybody gets any information would be appreciated
  5. In Louisville it can be sort of a mess because of how they have set up the school areas. My guess is that Chance decided to go to Eastern his Freshman year and petitioned to go there after 8th grade and was accepted. I think he lives in the Fern Creek area and Fern Creek is his home school so he can transfer back to it. Sort of what happened to Trey Hill when he went from Fern Creek to PRP last year, PRP was his home school. It defiantly can be a mess here in Louisville, and there does tend to be a lot of moving around. That being said, he is a good player, but I really wonder about the chemistry of the team with all of the talent they have. So far in summer ball, they have looked really good and as long as Anthony Wales is running the team, they are in very good hands. Time will tell.
  6. Is Madison Central at Lex Cath camp, and if so how are they looking if anybody knows? Thanks
  7. I agree, not so much he is doing commercial work and such, but having your name attached to what will be a HUGE flop and a garbage movie. Kobe always prides himself on being the best and putting out the best........missed big time on this one, but I am guessing the money and the pressure by the marketing ppl was pretty intense to get a great basketball name so they could shill for this crap movie during the playoffs. Always the Mamba.....but looks more like a garden snake in this effort.:idunno:
  8. thanks, sometimes the chatter is true. This team is going to be loaded. Anthony Wales, Tony Rogers, Ahmad Price at the guards. They also have size in a 6'6" kid with length who's name escapes me and Clint Wickliffe inside. A nice guard also is Kobie Stanton to come off the bench. Add Chance at 6' 5" into this mix and they have some REAL talent on the floor. It will be interesting to see the chemistry, and sharing of the ball. Remember they already lost one of the top 5 sophomores last year when Trey Hill transferred to PRP. Not sure of the situation that caused that, but might be an indication of too much talent and only one ball on the court. As a side note, I love Wales and he is going to be really good, but I think the sleeper on this team is going to be Rogers. I get a chance to see both of them workout often and they are great, hard working, talented kids. Glad we are moving to the Richmond area and my son wont have to take that thumping from them this year on the court.:isurrender::lol2:
  9. Just received an offer from Duke. Also got invited to Alabama camp. A lot more coming for this young man. Congratulations!!!
  10. So glad for Tony, played guard for Fern Creek; good basketball skills, hard worker and great kid. Best of Luck Tony:ylsuper::ylsuper: We will be moving to Richmond this summer and looking forward to watching him play, and maybe continuing to work out with my son.
  11. glad to see you have joined the club. I love to light up my smoker with all kinds of meats and fish. Here is a tip for you. Brine your meats before you smoke them, they will stay juicy and flavorful. A simple brine is salt, sugar and water. Equal parts salt and sugar and enough water to cover whatever you are brining so that is it submerged. You can use whatever else you like the the brine as far as spice goes and other liquids it is up to you. The brining process draws out the water and replaces it with the flavored water. Try it, I think you will like the results. Best of luck, enjoy and eat well:dancingpa
  12. saw him play 3 times this weekend......2 with 17U Magic and one with 16U. I also got to see him play a couple of times last year during the school year. He has a great body and good height, and can stroke the long ball. I don't really see Florida type potential but then again I am not the one doing the recruiting. At this level he is able to get to the basket and score a lot, I think it has a lot to do with his body and size. Not overly quick or explosive, and I think that will hurt him at the next level. He going to be a nice player at the next level, but I think he will be more of a catch and shoot type player. Enjoyed watching him play, and of course, theses are just my opinions :jump:
  13. :thumb: they always do a good job of trying to bring in the states best players to showcase them and their teams. Add in always having quality out of state teams and it makes for a great event year end and year out. Job well done
  14. Best of luck to Coach Couch. Lost a lot of talent but comes into a solid system.
  15. If your in the Louisville area there is going to be some good hoops this Memorial day weekend at the 3 Stripe Alliance event. I know for sure in 17U EG10 Louisville Magic Next Level WKY Elite GBC Grassroots IN Charlotte Court Hoosier Hoops Should be some great ball this weekend. Come out and enjoy it.
  16. I don't know, jack from squat, about the program or all of the participants, but the longer this thread goes, the more I think this could be a real thing... "This team will eat itself alive." Coaches having kids coming up, kids moving schools for whatever reasons, last year kids playing time cut.....I agree, a lot of talent for sure, my question is can it co-exist? There is an old saying, "if you met your girl by her cheating, don't be surprised when it all goes to pot because the behavior is repeated". :idunno:Time will tell I guess and best of luck.
  17. A real possibility. One ball isn't going to be enough for everybody to get theirs, should make for an interesting season.
  18. per twitter is going from Vincennes to the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Best of luck:thumb:
  19. I have not seen COBE play but I have heard some nice things about his game and I hope to see him play this year. I have seen all of the players on my list play, I watch a lot of HS ball I guess. Plus have the pleasure of seeing some of these kids workout, in fact, watching 3 of them now going through shooting workout. Regardless of the number next to the name or if on a list or not, this is a very solid and deep class.
  20. He is a really nice player that definitely is under the radar. He plays AAU for Louisville Lightening. He has good size, can shoot and is a good rebounder. 2018 is loaded, and he is a good example of that.
  21. Nicole Ambrose, not sure about the GA part, but she was an assistant at Male last year. Nice lady, and very driven, I will be surprised if the culture of girls basketball at Waggener doesn't change dramatically.
  22. Is defiantly a 1-AA thing. When Louisiana Tech(my alma mater) made the jump up to the D1 level years ago, we brought in some real suspect characters to jump start the program. I remember we had two that had left(or got booted) the University of Miami (when the program was in its heyday) and we took them in. Everybody knew they wouldn't last more then a year or so, which they didn't, but it made us more competitive in ability and size. Sometimes the small ones have to take a chance to get a foot print in the sand.
