  1. Madison Central Knox Central Dunbar at bourbon County Bryan Station at Lexington Catholic Woodford County Tates Creek @Lafayette George Rogers Clark @MADISON Southern
  2. I think our degrees of separation are minimal in this instance:thumb:
  3. This is the HUGE difference. If your aren't in the elite national players group, even if you are ranked 1 or 2 in the state of Kentucky by the end of Sophomore year, potential or not, chances of you being in the NBA are VERY slim. Doesn't mean you can't play in the Pros, just not in the NBA. Yes, there are some exception, Anthony Davis, but they can be counted on 2 hands. I have seen Romeo play about 4-5 times, he is special, I have also seen the other kids play, they are very good. Special gets you to the NBA, very good lets you play at the higher next level. Regardless, all the players talked about have a bright future.
  4. Now I understand the Ben Simmons remark, and that is what played out there I think.
  5. And I am thrilled to see that level of player choose Western, although it makes it tougher for my LA Tech Bulldogs.
  6. How is this a mess up? I assume that you are referring to Simmons going to LSU and not Kansas or Kentucky or a Duke? Just because a 5 star kid doesn't go to a top 5 school people think they're screwing themselves. Talent is talent, but more importantly work ethic is work ethic. If a player has both, it doesn't matter where they go, they will be seen, and they will get a chance to get to the next level. Besides you sort of defeat your argument(if that is your argument), Ben Simmons went to a lesser program, and really the worst part is, he didn't make it any better, BUT was still the #1 pick. It is all about the fit.
  7. On the KHSAA App they have already moved everything to the 2016-2017 year. Looks to me like most teams schedules are listed for the current year.
  8. Mistake or not I guess time will tell. What people need to remember about this whole process is, what is the best fit for the player. I know Anthony and his dad really like the SCHOOL, as well as the basketball program. Do I think he could play at a bigger school, I have no doubt that he could and do it well. But ultimately, it isn't about bigger and better, but about the fit of the player and the whole school. I would argue that more kids do themselves harm by not taking an offer at a school because it doesn't pass the look important test. Fit is EVERYTHING.
  9. I could care less who is watching and if the ppl picking the all-star teams are influenced before the process even starts. My son goes for one reason. A measuring stick. PERIOD. Not many other places you can have some of the best talent around and get to see how you stack up. Taking the knowledge that he gains and working on where he falls short from theses type of events, will allow him to get the exposure that is needed. We all do different things for different reason. Just my opinion of course.
  10. Anthony has committed to Samford He will only be a junior. He is a great kid, and has a great game. Perfect fit for him. I wish him the best of luck.:taz: I wont be surprised to see his Fern Creek team in the Sweet 16 this year with him running the show.
  11. I agree, I love his game but I thought that level was a good fit. Obviously I would think he is hearing from some lower level large schools for him to make the decision one would think. Dunno, maybe Vanderbilt levelish. Who knows, wish him the best.
  12. Is re-classing to 2017 and opening up his recruiting. Should have some pretty good offers I would think, although Miami of Ohio isn't chopped liver:lol2:
  13. Is it over by the school? Living in Louisville I should know, but don't get over that way often.
  14. They lost a ton and aren't the same team they were the last 2 years. They will still be good and compete, but not among the teams that are listed. That would be my guess anyway. Looking forward to seeing Lee from AL, always a great program. Tourney is defiantly loaded and must see couple of games.
  15. Cordia has hired Josh Hurt. He was the assistant under Rhodes
  16. I am sure they will be knocking, I believe he is going to an Alabama camp in the coming weeks. Side note, my son was working out tonight and he was finishing up his workouts. The kid is a monster, 6' 4" 285 and not an ounce of fat on him and was easily getting the rim on the basketball goal. He is going to put the hurt on some kids in the next 2 years of high school.
  17. I would say for any level. Dion Sanders, Bo Jackson, Joey Galloway ran in the 4.15 to 4.2 in the NFL combines. That is flat-out legit speed, HS, College, Pro.
  18. DB Jairus Brents - Waggener just ran a 4.33 40 up at Ohio State Camp Sorry about the double post, computer is acting up
  19. looking forward to moving and getting son in the mix, should be fun to see what happens.
