I'm not counting them out at all, Mason County has proven to vulnerable, but if they play to their potiental nobody will beat them in the region IMO.

IMO the Top 10 players in the region all come from the top 4 teams, Mason/Campbell/GRC/Scott and I would also have GRC as the #3 team. Other than that it looks solid, you put a lot of time into this, job well done.

Yes GRC wanted the home bench but didn't request the Royals fanbase to sit on the opposing side as well so the GRC bench was right in front of the Fieldhouse Krazies. Absolutely mayhem to say the least.

I was at that game, absolutely brutal to watch. Royals came out with the W and Pig Williams had fouled out with like 6 minutes to go in the game.

I really really like this GRC team and I am also good friends with the Taylor family, I want to say GRC gets the W but I still think its just a year too soon for them. Campbell wins a nail biter because of their free-throw shooting. Camels 76- Cardinals 69

I'm gonna hold off a little longer on my prediction, I think the Royals have improved drastically over the past few games but I'm not quite sure if its enough to knock off Jake Omer and the Eagles. I'll keep thinking.

This matchup was gonna occur at some point, it sucks that it had to be the 1st round, but I don't expect there to be any upsets. The winner of this game will advance to the championship to play Mason or Campbell.

Nobody on this thread said he couldn't coach or wasn't a good one? Everyone was simply saying that people over hype him and the program. I don't believe anyone's "agenda" is to trash Bracken County's coach or their program, rather than to silence those who have hyped it up and then made excuses.

I'm gonna have to agree with you and go with the 2010 10th Region Championship game Mason vs. Clark. GRC made the mistake of wanting to sit on the home teams bench which was also behind the Mason County student section, that was not a wise choice at all. 2007 Mason County vs. Clark County was also another thriller, if I remember correctly the Royals lost that game on a missed over and back call. The 2016 Final was also one I'll never forget simply because 75% of people in the gym were against Mason County. The semi-finals that year were also good with Paris blowing a 19 point 1st quarter lead and then Augusta knocking off MoCo.

GRC cakewalked through their district, Scott lost a tight one to Campbell in the Championship game. These two teams meet in the regular season on February 3rd @ Scott with the Lady Eagles pulling out a tight one 56-51 over the Lady Cardinals. Will history repeat itself and the Lady Eagles pull out another W, or will GRC get revenge?

This is the last time I'll address this issue until there's a thread solely created on this topic.. I'm all for pride, confidence and passion, but there's a fine line between that and being egotistical as another BGP poster mentioned in another thread. If you want to go out and say "Hey Bracken County is gonna win the State Championship and go undefeated" that's fine and dandy, but don't get upset when people call you out for having a 16-14 record, and not winning your district tournament while making ridiculous excuses. You can sit there and say well if this would've happened or that wouldn't have happened then we would've won all you want, but it isn't going to change anything. My father taught me not to make excuses and it is honestly probably the best lesson I've ever been taught because I take responsibility for myself and my actions. Back to the whole agenda thing, it makes me curious as to why you guys think people are gonna spend $20 to get on a forum and try to destroy Bracken County's reputation? Not trying to be mean or anything, but you guys haven't won a district championship since 1999 and you think people are out to get you? For what reason? I know many BGPers on a friendly level and none of them that say negative things about the Bracken County program have "agendas". You guys always want to throw the fact you're a small school at people but yet there are small schools out there night in and night out doing things that you guys say happens very rarely. Newport Central Catholic is an All A school that won their region last year and made noise at Rupp, Paris has the potential to do that this year, Augusta ALMOST did it last year. It isn't that rare for small schools to succeed, but yourself and other members of the PBN continue to act like it isn't possible and doesn't happen at all. What? How can that be???? You can't win the Regional Tournamemt at a small school it's unheard of.

You ever think people just get tired of hearing about how great and special this Bracken County group is and then all the excuses everyone makes for them when they lose? I mean it's like someone said in one of the other threads, we've been hearing about how this group of seniors were gonna be the ones to end the Championship drought in Brooksville and how Hinson was gonna help them achieve that and here we are, no championship and thousands of thousands of excuses. Someone even went to the extent to blame Jacob Hamilton for their loss to Mason County because he quit to focus on his XC career. It's not so much people having agendas and out to get Hinson or hate on Bracken as much as it is people being tired of hearing how spectacular Bracken County is when they aren't. I picked Bracken to beat Mason and Harrison. I am not a pro-Mason County person or even an anti-Bracken County person, but someone who is fair and calls things how I see them. One way or another.

What I HEARD came from graduates and fans of Bracken County who were also at the game. So apparently someone needs glasses and to study the Rule book of basketball a bit more. One way or the other. It's also quite funny how majority of the "big wins" for the Polar Bears come at home, don't think I've seen them beat a good team on the road. Take that for what it's worth.
