  1. Tough loss for CCH. Ruwe pitched incredible and Pangallo had an incredible catch. Hats off the Ryle and Ziegelmeyer, he did it all with his pitching and home run. A great play by the third basemen too.
  2. I think for being a runner up in their district, Cov Catch got a pretty good draw. The only problem is Ziegelmeyer in the first round.
  3. Alex Kennedy from Cov Cath. He has done a great job catching for them this year.
  4. I think St. Henry will beat Ludlow. I have not seen them play, but I have heard that they are coached very well. As for the 9th region winner, I think anybody could win it. I don't think there is a favorite, because everybody has shown us some vulnerability.
  5. Adam Ruwe pitched the first game, Cam Pitzer pitched the second.
  6. Cam Pitzer pitched 8 innings and got game-winnig RBI. Adam Piccirillo made a huge defensive play to save a run. Good job Colonels.
  7. Dixie score 7 in the first inning, then CCH brought in Robert Young who shut Dixie down and only gave up one run the rest of the game.
  8. Are you talking about the game against Western Louisville? In that game Latin didn't have a single junior playing due to them all being gone on a trip to DC. The oldest play on the field that day was 15! I agree, they will be a lot better in a few years.
  9. I heard it was an ugly one for CCH... But also great pitching from Campbell.
  10. Side Note: Latin only has one team and they play a mix of varsity, JV, and Freshman
  11. Good defensive game by both teams. Pendleton had a perfect game thought 3 2/3 innings. I did not catch the name of the pitcher, but he went the whole game and only gave up two hits to Micah Gray and Jacob Langguth. Latin also had good pitching with Dylan Damico pitching 4 2/3 giving up 4 runs (unsure how many were earned), with Langguth giving up just one run in relief. Latin had some great defensive plays by River Carpenter and Eli Tarvin, but Pendleton's pitching was the key in the Wildcats' win.
  12. O-4. Maxpreps said 0-8 but they had mistakes on there. They doubled and tripled a few games.

  14. Sorry about that. Riherds has them down as 2-1 (which I looked at first), so I looked at Maxpreps which has them at 5-1.
  15. Both teams struggled in the field due to horrible field conditions. Cov Cath improves to 6-0 while Dixie falls to 2-1.
  16. Some stat updates (correct me if I am wrong, and I only have a few CCH stats): Batting: Pangallo: 2B, 2 RBI, Bailey: 3 RBI (Thats one that I'm not sure if it is correct, but I know he had a few RBIs), Langguth: 2 for 3. Pitching: Ruwe, Haughey (winning pitcher), Schwartz, and Young. Those are all of the stats that I heard about, I would like to see any other stats that anyone has, especially some Campbell County stats.
  17. I wasn't there but I heard good things about it.
  18. I am not sure if this counted as a JV game or a varsity game.
  19. Latin struggled due to a shortened pitching staff since their top reliever was sidelined with a back problem. Dayton played a good game, though, and improves to 2-1. Latin falls to 0-2.
  20. Okay thanks for the info. I knew about Latin playing JV, but I'm surprised about Villa. I wonder if a Latin-Villa game would be competitive this year.
  21. Do they only rank the top ten, or do they rank every Northern Kentucky team? I wanted see if they ranked the small schools like Calvary, Villa, or Latin.
  22. The Cincinnati Reds' head trainer said that the best off-season training program for kids is to play another sport. 9 years old is too young. You should probably always have some sort of a secondary sport (even if it's recreational) so that you can use different muscles and do not get burned out. If he continues to want to focus on soccer, high school would be a good time.
