  1. Are you talking about the game against Western Louisville? In that game Latin didn't have a single junior playing due to them all being gone on a trip to DC. The oldest play on the field that day was 15! I agree, they will be a lot better in a few years.
  2. I heard it was an ugly one for CCH... But also great pitching from Campbell.
  3. Side Note: Latin only has one team and they play a mix of varsity, JV, and Freshman
  4. Good defensive game by both teams. Pendleton had a perfect game thought 3 2/3 innings. I did not catch the name of the pitcher, but he went the whole game and only gave up two hits to Micah Gray and Jacob Langguth. Latin also had good pitching with Dylan Damico pitching 4 2/3 giving up 4 runs (unsure how many were earned), with Langguth giving up just one run in relief. Latin had some great defensive plays by River Carpenter and Eli Tarvin, but Pendleton's pitching was the key in the Wildcats' win.
  5. Our Lady of Victory, pray for us! Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for them! One of my favorites. But to be honest, praying to win doesn't seem right since the other team could be doing the same thing. I would suggest praying for good weather, sportsmanship, and safety. I'm happy that it's baseball time.
  6. O-4. Maxpreps said 0-8 but they had mistakes on there. They doubled and tripled a few games.
  7. I tried to do something similar to that one time and ended up jamming my knee into the post. I realized that I need new shin guards.

  9. Sorry about that. Riherds has them down as 2-1 (which I looked at first), so I looked at Maxpreps which has them at 5-1.
  10. Both teams struggled in the field due to horrible field conditions. Cov Cath improves to 6-0 while Dixie falls to 2-1.
  11. Some stat updates (correct me if I am wrong, and I only have a few CCH stats): Batting: Pangallo: 2B, 2 RBI, Bailey: 3 RBI (Thats one that I'm not sure if it is correct, but I know he had a few RBIs), Langguth: 2 for 3. Pitching: Ruwe, Haughey (winning pitcher), Schwartz, and Young. Those are all of the stats that I heard about, I would like to see any other stats that anyone has, especially some Campbell County stats.
  12. I am not sure if this counted as a JV game or a varsity game.
  13. Latin struggled due to a shortened pitching staff since their top reliever was sidelined with a back problem. Dayton played a good game, though, and improves to 2-1. Latin falls to 0-2.
  14. I wish I could've seen Musial and Williams play today. Those are two hitters that could probably perform greatly I'm today's game.
  15. I think that to beat Kentucky, you need a good physical heart, and a lot of spiritual heart. The Cats have too much depth, so you can't tire them out, you need to be in good enough shape to stay with them. Also, you need to play on emotions, you got to want to beat them with all you got.
  16. Okay thanks for the info. I knew about Latin playing JV, but I'm surprised about Villa. I wonder if a Latin-Villa game would be competitive this year.
  17. I was wondering about this, you can find an easy pick for a certain position, then you get overflowed at another. Here's a start, but mainly off the top of my head: C Bench (maybe Berra) 1B Gehrig 2B Morgan SS Wagner 3B Brooks Robinson OF Ruth OF Mays OF Williams/DiMaggio SP Cy Young SP Walter Johnson SP Nolan Ryan RP Rivera RP Gagne RP Hoffman DH Thomas
  18. There is definitely proof (historical evidence) that Jesus was a real man, and was crucified. If you think that the Resurrection was a made-up story: there were 500 eye-witnesses, not to mention the Apostles were murdered for teaching that Jesus rose from the dead. Peter was crucified upside down, Andrew on an "x", and Bartholomew was skinned alive. If they made the whole Resurrection story up, they would not have had the courage to be crucified, and would have given up on it.
  19. Do they only rank the top ten, or do they rank every Northern Kentucky team? I wanted see if they ranked the small schools like Calvary, Villa, or Latin.
