horst muhlmann
Final per the KHSAA scoreboard. The Camels turn the tables and avenge a 5-0 loss to the Colonels earlier in the season. Heard Brian Haughy pitched a complete game for CovCath. Not sure who threw for Campbell.

BuckeyeBoy2885
Kyle Becker pitched the complete game shutout. He had great command today and the defense behind him was on point. The Camels turned several pitcher's best friends to erase Cov Cath threats. The Camels bats were very live and Cov Cath struggled in the field, with at least six errors. Both teams squandered opportunities in their respective first halves at the plate. Camels scored their runs in the fourth and fifth innings, in the end Becker was good enough to only need one. Game played at Cov Cath, was originally scheduled at CCHS! Camels at Conner on Wednesday.
Clyde
6 errors? How many of the 5 runs were earned?
horst muhlmann
6 errors? How many of the 5 runs were earned? 6 CovCath errors would then mean Haughy would have needed to get 27 outs.
Swinging Bunt single
What's it Matter? Out of the 5 only one earner or not was needed for a win. The young man from CCHS pitched a great game!

My question took nothing away from the obviously strong game pitched by the Camel pitcher.

NKYSportsFreak
Three errors guys! Fielding E: Mcginnis, Langguth 2. Also, Becker only allowed 5 hits in his 7 inning shutout with CCH only having 3 LOB for the game, compared to 10 hits and 8 LOB for the Camels. Camels had four doubles, so this was more about what the Camels did than what CCH didn't. Nice win for the Camels, but this game has no negative impact on the Colonels. The Colonels are 12-2 and are one of the states top teams. Hopefully this spurs both teams on to an even better year!
Clyde
7 errors for CCH. 5 on throws. 2 on catches.
kinglouie
7 errors for CCH. 5 on throws. 2 on catches. Ouch - Tough to overcome that in any game.
Aroundthehorn
I heard it was an ugly one for CCH... But also great pitching from Campbell.
