Need to change my vote. Haha. I just heard NDA ran suicides for 30- 40 mins at practice today. They did the same thing before the Holmes game. Tough to have legs for a game when your coach takes them from you. Have to be a little smarter than that.

Pius coach was not present last night I heard and there has been some whining about kids playing time so you saw some PT for kids who do not usually get it. By time Pius was down 10 last night the others came in. Again, this is what I was told. I wasn't there. I also heard about a CE crowd who was all over Mayer and calling him "spray tan" as he is tan from the CCH Florida trip. CE was dressed up as nerd night as well. Is this true for a 8th grade game? I hope the name chanting is false as I would expect any administration would be embarrassed to allow that The difference right now is Pius teams do not practice but 1-2x a week due to the many 3rd-8th grade boys and girls teams and limited open times. Per the same contact today come a few weeks they will get more practice time in to prepare for the run. But for sure at this age these boys are starting to develop and catch up. will be a very fun 2016 tourney this year.

Decent? That's dang great. But having seen the game I wouldn't say HHS was the aggressor or that much more to have such a big difference in attempts. But with that said yes that's great shooting.

The inconsistency is the only thing that bothers me and most people. I was sent a video clip of a game today at Conner. Ref calls a fingernail touch foul early in the game and by the video I'm not even sure she touched her. 30 feet from the basket. Now that player has to play the next 12 minutes at a cautious level. 2 mins later that same ref right in front of his eyes allows a girl from the same team to have two hands attached to a girl driving to the basket 8 feet away from the rim. That is a huge problem. In the same video a foul was called for a push off and there is 2 feet of separation from the players. how can he see a push that isn't there right in front of his eyes. Video doesn't lie. There is a test you can take. It shows a situation for a short time and them ask you what you saw. This should be mandatory to take and pass. I can say with confidence 75% of high school on down refs would fail that test.

Did I hear this right? HHS had like 34 free throws making 27-28 to NDA 8 attempts. That can not be correct ?

Final last night. Not a lot of details so if anyone has any please add. Heard NDA couldn't hit the ocean from the line and had a lid on the basket on bunnies. Lead stayed from 8-12 all game. Newport's Orr was frustrated by NDA's defense all game and picked up a T at the end of the 3rd and never returned. Does Newport have a internal rule about this? It was her 4th foul a NDA parent said.

St Pius 30. Camp Ernst 16. Tonight. Pius simply frustrated dominated And put it to them in the second half at Ernst. Wow another Hagen coming to NDA next year. She is nasty in every tough sense of the word in a good way. A completely different player than her sister. Thapar girl was very good after the game was tied at half. As a non Pius person kudos the them for over coming poor officiating and some of the rudest fans I've seen at a middle school game.
