Should be a good match up of two perennial strong programs. Is Notre Dame coming into form? Will they come out of this one the victor? Does Notre Dame have any strong post players?

The word is Sacred Heart is too easy to scout and thus defend. No imagination to either their offense or defense. Notre Dame should handle SHA

I think NDA will win this one if Martin controls the game. Notre dame will slow sacred heart down.

 

Have not seen Sacred Heart play but from what I have heard they are talented but young. But if they are so easily scouted why have they only lost to two Kentucky teams?

 

What do you think Coach Wyatt Foust's gameplan will be besides slowing sacred heart down?

SH is young, but they are good. They have a good mix of players, athletes and shooters. Grace Berger will be, maybe, the best player ND has seen to this point (didn't look at their schedule to verify). They won't get rattled, they have good balance and excellent ball handlers.

 

ND seems to have found their identity and that seems to be tough, gritty defense with enough scoring to beat you. They have bought into "team". Players seem comfortable in their roles.

I think you are right RC. It has been exciting watching different players step up and make huge offensive and defensive strides when the "team" needs them to. I hope they continue to gel.

Sacred Heart is good, but they have the same issue as most other high school boys and girls teams.... Consistency. When they are on their game they will be tough to beat. All the NKY teams seem to play them tough, so I expect no different tomorrow evening.

Need to change my vote. Haha. I just heard NDA ran suicides for 30- 40 mins at practice today. They did the same thing before the Holmes game. Tough to have legs for a game when your coach takes them from you. Have to be a little smarter than that.

If the coach thinks they are deserving as a team to run then it is what it is. Coaches have different philosophies on handling internal situations. This is his way. 10 mins, 30 mins, really doesn't matter. Its a NDA team issue. Play ball.

I agree! A coach typically won't run their team like that unless they felt it was deserved. I don't care what the issue was, but apparently he felt it was deserved. And if he felt it was deserved, then in my opinion, it doesn't matter when you run. If you mess up, you pay the piper...regardless of when. Punishment doesn't go on hold because of timing. If you don't want to run the day before a big game, then keep your nose clean!
