Featured Replies

Notre Dame Academy offered $43,750 in academic scholarships to 23 incoming freshmen for the fall of 2016 at NDA's High School Placement Test results meeting. Representing eleven tri-state grade schools, these talented students earned the scholarships based on their outstanding performance on the High School Placement Test (HSPT) in December 2015.

do they all play basketball or sports?

I am just the messenger.

This really doesn't fit in one forum over the other but since it is hoops season I thought the basketball forum was the best forum to make the post in.

do they all play basketball or sports?

The website names the academic scholarship winners. I would guess "do you play sports" is not a question on the HSPT:)

Please post the Same information when Covington Holy Cross release their results..:sssh:

If someone sends it to me I will be glad to do so.

The awards are $500-$2000. Tuition is $6825. (And did you know if you have three girls in the school you only pay $700 in fees and no tuition for the third one?)

That's great if you have 3 girls. Do you know if the third one is free even if she is not in school at the same time as her sisters?

Not positive but I think they all have to be enrolled at the same time.

This is academic scholarship not a sports scholarship, I know Holy Cross gives academic scholarships I am not knocking their academics because they have very good academics there.

I don't understand why anyone is making a big deal about this. Most all of the catholic high schools offer scholly's based on results of the entrance exams. None of these scholarships take in consideration extra curricular activities to earn the award.

Is this just someone trying to stir up :poop:?
